Has anyone stayed at any of the Marriotts in Florence, SC? Looks like there is a Courtyard, SpringHill Suites and a Fairfield Inn.

Stayed at the Fairfield a few years ago. It is not a bad place. It has outside corridors and is right off the highway. I thought it could have been a little cleaner. We have since changed to the Hampton Inn near the convention center. A little more expensive but it has inside corridors and refrigerators in all the rooms.

Have not tried the other Marriotts in Florence. Oh, Pizza Hut delivers to the the Fairfield and the Hampton Inn. :thumbsup2

Hope this helps!

If your unfamiliar with the Marriott brands, the Fairfield is more of a cheaper, quick stay for leasure travelers. Springhill Suites are basically just oversized rooms for business travlers, and Courtyards are pretty much just business hotels. I would suggest Springhill Suites because their properties are usually in great condition with interior corridors. Also, Springhill Suites have pools and free continental breakfasts, a nice feature when you've been on the road all day....

I've stayed at the Country Inn and Suites in Florence SC (exit 164) many times. It's great. Free breakfast in the morning. Nice clean rooms with Queen beds. Indoor coridors.

I highly recommend this hotel.

I was leaning towards SpringHill Suites since we had stayed in one in Orlando a couple years ago and really liked it. Just looking for some other opinions since I couldn't find any reviews of the one in Florence. Thanks!

Yep, were Marriott Rewards memebers (if your not, i suggest signing up) and Springhill Suites usually give you the most for your points. Also, Im a fan of the Courtyard's, but they are pretty much geared for business travelers....No free breakfast though (buffet is $7.99) :confused3

On our drive from NJ last August we stayed in the SpringHill Suites in Savannah (on the way down), Orlando Marriott Village and Florence (on the way home). All were great! Big rooms, clean and the breakfast in the morning had more choices than your typical continental fare. I would highly recommend all three!
