Fish Extenders for the Podcast Cruise

Looking forward to seeing you again as well! :cool1:
Christmas and the Holidays........weeeelllllll........not so good.
Still battling colds and flus.
And I still cannot hear out of my right ear.
Landing in Toronto was painful. Imagine an ice pick and your ear.....:scared1:

BUT!!

3 days Disney, 5 days on the Podcast cruise, 5 days Disney.....I'll get over it. :dance3:
And then back to BLT for our first trip "Home" in December again!! :thumbsup2

I know how you feel about the post trip blues.
Cold out (28F, -2C right now) but has been colder!
About 3" (7.5cm) of snow on the ground, but the East coast got hit with 20" (50cm) :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

Hmmmmmmmmm....now this FE thingy.......what to do........

Oh bless you - hope your ear gets better  we got colds in Florida but were over it before we flew home (delayed 7 hours but would rather be stuck in Florida for 7 hours!). At least you have some thing - well 2 things! - to look forward to :thumbsup2

And you get to stay at BLT - jealous

So far no snow here, I'm back to work Monday :headache: But just over 4 months and it'll be sunshine all the way :yay: :yay: :yay:

I'm stuggling with FE gift ideas, have started on the FE - will post when I take some pics.

I'd do something local/national/different :thumbsup2
Good luck!

WELL, IT'S ABOUT TIME! So glad you're onboard! Are you an inside cabin or an outside? Who knows? You might end up next to ME!

Been weighing the facts and figures.
DVC took a big chunk of change, but the free room at SSR is going to help!
Were in a Cat 5, so outside, mid ship, as thats where the 4 person rooms are apparently.
And I understand Mr Shadow will be joining us!

Dw is elated about the whole thing.
Me?..........Well...........I'm so excited I could piddle! :dance3:

Awesome! Glad you're gonna be with us. Make sure you post on the cruise thread. :thumbsup2

Have to get there and get caught up first!
Looking forward to seeing you both!

B

I had a rough flight home, too. Didn't want to spoil the almost-perfection that was my trip by talking 'bout it, but my knee felt like it was being smashed with a sledge hammer for 2 hours straight. Rough flight, couldn't get up and walk it out...so painful it made me nauseous...you can guess the rest. I feel bad for the people stuck next to me. Hid under my coat so they didn't have to experience it, but....

Thats awful!
Hope the legs better!
I dont fly well at all unless its smooth.
As long as it is smooth sailing, Im fine....but turbulence....Im struggling.
The ear pain was only for about 20-30 mins, but seemed like an eternity.
I managed to pop it after the plane was taxiing, but couldnt hear.
No damage to the eardrum, just an ear infection that seems to be hanging on.

I'm going to pay extra for extra leg room, if I need to. I swear I had a blood clot or something in my knee.

Yay! More deck 7'ers!!

and more kids:

so far, there are 52 participating staterooms.
36 of which have no children (meaning of course that there are 16 with children) and these children are:

Two 2 year olds
One 3 year old
Three 4 year olds
Two 6 year old
Two 7 year olds
Three 8 year olds
Two 9 year olds,
One 10 year old
Three 11 year olds
One 12 year old
One 13 year old (Gibson!)
Two 14 year olds
One 16 year old
and one unknown

Off to track down that child of unknown age.....

Nice - 3 groups of kids, pre-school, elementary school, and high school. just a thought

Just a friendly reminder to update the info above if you can. I know some of you don't have room numbers yet.

Here is our stateroom: 2111.

Who all is going to be at "the bottom or the boat?" I have never stayed on deck 2 before and I am looking forward to seeing what it is like. Also our first time with an inside cabin. On our last cruise our tablemates had an inside cabin and they used to leave the TV on, tuned to the channel that shows the camera view of the outside, front of the ship (hope that makes sense). Of course it shows the darkness at night, but when they woke up, if it was morning, the TV would show the daylight outside so they knew it was morning. I hope that made sense, I probably didn't explain it well.:confused3 I think we will give that a try to see if it helps.

I'll be even lower...deck 1!! We love it down there, its smooth and quiet...and the elevator is always empty!

Don't worry -- there's a few of us on Deck 2. :goodvibes

I've heard others mention this, it's a good idea :thumbsup2 (unless sunrise is 4am :scared1: )

Do you know if it has sound?

I checked the sunrise time for May 10, twilight for Orlando begins at 6:12 with official sunrise at 6:38. I don't think this channel would have sound. I know the one on Princess did not have sound.

I'm not sure I will leave this channel on. I don't think I want to wake up that early. At least for Monday through Wednesday.

I guess I am too heavy of a sleeper to be awakened by a sunrise on TV.:confused3 It would be nice to see though. And 6:30 is sleeping in, even on vacation!:thumbsup2
