Fish Extenders for the Podcast Cruise

Hi all!

I am closing the FE group. We have 10 now, but if anyone else wants to start another one, feel free!

Just to clarify, that is only the 10 people that are chipping in and pooling resources. The FE exchange is still open until the end of January, correct?

Hmm, let me help you. I like money, chocolate, money, chcolate... Just kidding. I'm so glad I'm part of a group who has great ideas, otherwise I'd be stressing over this, too. I've heard that people do things that say something about where they are from. Muscatine, Iowa, is me. We are home to the HON office products. You coudl all get a filing cabinet. We have a big Heinz plant here. I could bring packets of ketchup. But, our claim to fame, besides being the only Muscatine in the country, is that we are the pearl button capital of the world. At one time I think over 2/3s of all the pearl buttons in the world came from our very own Muscatine, Iowa. So, I could bring pearl buttons. No one uses pearl buttons anymore, they are all plastic.

I'm excited about the fish extenders. No matter what you bring it will be fun to see the different items. I know my girls will love it and probably end up with most of my loot.

lol- i'd love some pearl buttons! just getting anything is going to be great. Plus i love giving. We have some good ideas already going-----i am in Dallas- so Dallas Cowboys, cowboys, bluebonnets etc. We might do something disney or pirate themed too though, and perhaps a homemade item too (not food).

I can tell you if I got pearl buttons...I would use them and attach them to some article of clothing for our future daughter!!

Hi all, Happy New Year!

I was at WDW from 18 - 27 Dec and am still trying to get back to reality and catch up on what I missed while I was gone.

I love all the ideas everyone has and I am trying to get somethings that are representative of Texas and also commemorate the cruise. I got some ideas off the Internet that I hope I will be able to pull together.

What is everyone doing for fish extenders? I can do some basic crafts, so if anyone has an idea of how to make a basic one, let me know. I looked at the ones on Ebay, but not sure I want to spend the money for those (they seemed a little too expensive to me).

Did I miss anything else while I was gone? Let me know.

so far, there are 51 participating staterooms.
36 of which have no children (meaning of course that there are 15 with children) and these children are:

Two 2 year olds
One 3 year old
Three 4 year olds
One 6 year old
Two 7 year olds
Three 8 year olds
Two 9 year olds,
One 10 year old
Two 11 year olds
One 12 year old
One 13 year old (Gibson!)
Two 14 year olds
One 16 year old
and one unknown

Off to track down that child of unknown age.....

Christmas and the Holidays........weeeelllllll........not so good.
Still battling colds and flus.
And I still cannot hear out of my right ear.
Landing in Toronto was painful. Imagine an ice pick and your ear.....

BUT!!

3 days Disney, 5 days on the Podcast cruise, 5 days Disney.....I'll get over it.
And then back to BLT for our first trip "Home" in December again!!

I know how you feel about the post trip blues.
Cold out (28F, -2C right now) but has been colder!
About 3" (7.5cm) of snow on the ground, but the East coast got hit with 20" (50cm)

Hmmmmmmmmm....now this FE thingy.......what to do........
