Well, thanks to all the DVC DIS veterans I was able to start making those 11 month ressies for our first trip home to SSR this morning. I had planned to wait until the 24th...the date we want to check out in December...until I read here about the day-by-day ressie plan. So....
I called this morning at 9:25 EST to the 800 phone number...busy...again...busy...again...SUCCESS!!
My anticipated wait time was 6 minutes....
6 minutes later I was talking with Donna at MS who was wonderful...told her my overall plan...stay from 12/17 - 12/24, but research told me to do this day-by-day as it is such a busy time and she agreed I was doing the ressie the right way!

Within 10 minutes I had my first night booked...complete with the requests of NS and DD view.
I have my ressie # and an anticipated checkout date of 12/24...WOOHOO!
It was painless! I was really surprised how quickly it went given that yesterday MS was closed and I figured they would be swamped. Thanks for the pixie dust from whomever!
So now it is just a matter of making the call daily until I"ve completed the ressie! I just had to share the excitement with those who know and appreciate the luck and ease I had...DH had already left for work.
And speaking of which...I'd better get moving or I'll be late myself!
Eeegads! I now need to get an official countdown started!
Thanks for the help and words of wisdom I've received from you all and your posts! I swear that if the answer can't be found on the DIS boards then the answer doesn't exist!
