We're going just after Easter for the first time with children aged 8 & 11 who are both thrill seekers/water lovers. We're going to Discovery Cove and the best ticket seems to be one that gives the option to visit either of these parks. We're not particulary into 'Sealife' type shows, which one should we go for as it seems we need to specify when booking the tickets?
Cheers folks

Thats a personal choice only you know, myself its easy Busch Gardens, my favourite park and not a big fan of water parks.
If water parks are more your thing then go for that.

I suppose it depends how tall your children are and if they'd make the heights for the bigger rides at Busch. If they're not tall enough, then it's basically a glorified zoo as most of the rides there are thrill seeking ones. They do have animal shows alongside these.

Aquatica, I cannot comment on at the moment, as I'm only due to try this in May. But, it does look fantastic! Maybe not a full day there, just over half at the most for us.

Totaly dif parks, im with Wayne, busch gardens, dissapointed with aquatica, if you like coasters>>>>> def busch!

ps you will LOVE disc cove.

Thanks folks, my children love the coasters and I think will be big enough, need to do some serious research but thinking maybe busch

We went to both in January and Busch is my fave park out of them all, although we really loved Aquatica too, it's all so clean and new looking, the rides there are also fantastic and a lot to do for the kids.

It would be a really hard decision to make! :goodvibes

The one thing at Easter for sure is Aquatica will be extremely busy.

I agree with what others have said the parks are totally different, and the choice is between water rides and coasters/extreme rides.
You only need to view overhead images of BG to see the place is dominated by thrill rides and rollercoasters.
