Hi everyone,

This is our first time on the DDP and I'm really excited to try some new things! After reading all the menus, reviews, etc on these boards, I've made my ADRs, but just want to make sure I didn't miss anything !

8/21 5:30 pm at BOMA
8/22 4pm ADR at Le Cellier
8/23 6:10pm at CP for dinner with Pooh and Tigger !
8/24 offsite at Seaworld. No ADRs planned, might hit Pepper Market on the way back
8/25 8:05am ADR at CP, 4:10 ADR for Fantasmic package at MM .
8/26 Switching to SSR today :cheer2: !
1:10pm ADR for LeCellier (before the dinner one was avail! )
6:55pm ADR for Cap’t Jacks
8/27 6:45pm ADR at Kona
8/28 5pm ADR at WPC.
8/29 Last day

Please let me know what you think and help me with some questions!

1. Is the MM Fantasmic package worth it ? We’ve seen Fantasmic before and definitely want to see it again this trip, but I’ve heard mixed reviews about the food and about the seating…I’m thinking of canceling that and putting WPC earlier in the trip (or doing it twice, the menu looks great!:) )

2. We had done CM and WCC on earlier trips, so I’ve left them out on this one to try some new places. Anything great that I’ve missed ?

3.Should I keep my lunch ADR at Le Cellier as well as the dinner one ?

Thanks so much everyone for all your help and tips! We’ve always had great trips to WDW before, but with all the info I’ve found here, I’m sure this will be our best one!

How old are your kids? Do they want to do more characters for dining?

For my family, it would be too much food to eat TS at lunch and then dinner. So I would cancel lunch at Le Cellier and just do the dinner at Capt Jacks...or the other way around.. JMHO..

I have not done Mama Melrose but I have done Hollywood and Vine on the fantasmic package.. I would do the fantasmic package again..and DH and the boys like Hollywood and Vine..

I like Ohanas, Boma, Wolfgang Pucks and Beaches and Cream in additon to the ones that you picked.. but can't do them all in one trip so you'll have tp come back again.. ;)

I too think 2 TS in one day is a bit much. Since you are going to LeCellier once already, I would cancel the lunch ressie.

How many days are you going to be there? I probably counted wrong cause I don't have all the 2 TS memorized but it looks like you have to many TS. Cancelling Lecellier would take care of that. There is a lot of great CS in Epcot to replace Lec. We just recently did the Sunshine Food Court in the land and thought the food was quite good and one of the best values.

Thanks for the replies everyone! I'm thinking it's too much in one day too, so probably going to cancel one. I may wait until after our LeCellier dinner though to decide  !

I do have 9 TS meals, but my DS12 is really picky and I will probably get him a kids meal OOP at LeCellier, WPC, Kona and Capt Jacks. That will give us a few left over to do the 9 !

Still on the fence about MM Fantasmic package...Any more comments ???

My ds15 and I did the MM Fantasmic package last year and we both liked it. I had read the mixed reviews as well, but we had good food and our server was fantastic.

I would probably skip the LeCellar lunch and throw in either Ohana or a character breakfast.

If you cancel and have left over TS use it for bresakfast at Boma on 2/29 your last day before you leave.
Also do the MM for famtasmic sounds good we like MM, that show is not to miss if you do the meal or not.
Have a great trip, Me and DW are going last week in Sept.

Boma for breakfast on the last day. That's what we did, and I can't think of a better way to end a great trip....It was one of the best meals we had all week!

OK, I took another look at things and called WDW-DINE again to confirm! Good thing I did, 2 booked for Sat and nothing Sun nite:confused: .

So, I cancelled the Le Cellier lunch and the MM Fantasmic package.

But....we decided to do Cali Grill on Sunday :cool1: .

So here's the final (for now...)

8/21 5:30 pm at BOMA
8/22 4pm ADR at Le Cellier

I think we'll still end up with a couple TS meals left over since I'll be doing a OOP kids meal for my DS12 at the non buffet TS meals..We don't leave until around 7pm, so will probably hit Planet Hollywood or a great bfast on the last day.

I can't believe how great the DDP is !!

beroh2253,

Your's look good too! There are just too many good places to eat at WDW !:lmao:

btw, we're almost neighbors. I'm from South Jersey! I guess I can hijack my own thread, but I see you love POR. This is our first trip and I'm really excited about staying there!:hippie:

POR in My and DW opinion our favorite resort, just got to do a value resort cause my to guys DS20 soon 22 and DS19 are both in college (we are sneaking down while they are away at school). DS is in University of Penn (very expensive) you may know you being close to Philly. But we will visit POR for a TS and propably a few breakfasts. Beautiful pools and has many quiet pools, big dining hall and really spread out nicely. Can take a boat from POR to DDD very nice. Or even rent boats there.
Have a great trip. :cool1: :cool1:

Hi All,
I went to Wolfgang Puck's last year and was so disappointed. Your itinerary looks great - but I would sub out of WPC and add OHANA. Here is my itinerary - I am so excited:

Aug 27- OHANA
Aug 28 - Le Celier
Aug 29 - Boma
Aug 30 - Whispering Canyon
Aug 31 - Hollywood & Vine character lunch - Mama Melrose Fantasmic Dinner
Sept 1 - Coral Reef (lunch) - Marrakesh (dinner)
Sept 2 - Chef Mickeys (son's 4th Birthday)
Sept 3 - Le Celier (my favorite - so we do it twice)
Sept 4 - OHANA (another winner - so we end our trip with our faves)
Sept 5 - brunch at Crystal Palace and then off to the airport

Sept 1 5:00 Pm Spoodles
Sept 2 6:00 Pm France
Sept 3 6:20 Pm Le Cellier
Sept 4 6:10 Pm Concourse Steakhouse
Sept 5 5:20 Pm Ma Melrose Fantasmic
Sept 6 6:10 Pm Le Cellier
Sept 7 6:50 Pm Narcoossee’s
Sept 8 4:30 Pm Coral Reef
Sept 9 5:50 Pm Boma

We did the Fantasmic Dinner Package at Hollywood and Vine. We did this in early December before the heavy crowds and did not think it was that great. The food was great but when we were seated for the show it is off to the side and not in the center. People without the package were walking right in and sitting right in the middle. Since I see you are going in August, the package might be a good deal unless you want to line up real early. But for anyone going in the off-season, you are better off eating where you want and then finding your own seat.

I totally agree. The last two times we had MM Fantasmic dinner package, and did not even end up using it....no need. We had to take dinner times that were way too early for when we wanted to eat, like 3:45 or so. This time, I ended up just doing a regular ADR for the time I want @ 5:30 or 6 pm, and will just get my own seats at Fantasmic.

This might seem to be a silly question but are you allowed to order a kids meal for somebody who is over the age of 9? :confused3 I'd like to do this for one supper with our DS12 if it is possible.
