Have a wonderful time!Leftover salad today. Added mesclun to the chicken pesto to fluff it up a bit. A cup of cream of broccoli soup lowered the amt of freezer goods and still perks my appetite.
Have garbanzo and Great Northern beans to finish soaking and simmer for the freezer. Planned to make soups with them (I could live off of soup exclusively, lol) but plans have changed for the good.
In the next week or so I’m off to France and possibly UK courtesy of youngest son. He’s in charge of booking everything and my only responsibility is to have my bags packed ASAP. I know I’ll be in Normandy because his cousins own a home there via their dad and that’s where they spend August vacations generally. Only disappointment is DGD will already have started school in Paris. Other than that I’m an extremely happy woman.
