First timer at US

Iwould like to know about the Jurassic Park ride. Do you get wet on it? We will be there in Dec and dont want to walk around wet. I know the weather is pretty iffy that time of year. And another question, the Simpson ride, is it pretty nauseating? I was watching a video of it on Youtube, and I dont know about the ride, just watching the video makes my belly do tumbles. I used to be able to ride anything, but since having children, cant do a lot of those kinds of rides. Thank you.

Yes and Yes. Jurassic you will get at least a little bit wet, but i have gotten soaked on it before. no real rhyme or reason to it. The Simpsons makes me very sick. Could be old age though. hahahah 10 years ago Back tot he future didn't bother me, except for the head cracking in the back row, but in the past few years it has changed. if you think you might be a nauseas person dont ride it.

As for JP if its warm, go for a spin, just wear something that dries quick. i always wear swim trunks to IOA because i know i will get wet.

I have never ridden either one of those rides, but I wanted to say that my dh (who loves thrill rides) and my ds both said that the Simpson's ride was very rough and jerky. Neither one plans to ride it again.

If you duck down on the drop, you should get pretty much no water on you unless you're in the front row.

I could see possibly getting nauseated on The Simpsons ride, but that's not the common reaction. I don't find it the least bit jerky, way less than Spiderman. It's a stationary vehicle that barely moves. I can't even think of what is supposed to be the jerky part. There is one part where my stomach feels like it is dropping, but it's more a neat feeling than uncomfortable.
