First Time Water Park Questions

Are there characters at the water parks and if so, which ones at which parks?

Is it really hard to get an umbrella and chairs if you get there at opening or is it necessary to rent them?

Are there times of year when both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon are open or is it usually just one at a time? We are thinking Spring Break of next year.

1. I've seen goofy at Typhoon Lagoon and Olaf at Blizzard Beach. That's about it, though

2. There are plenty of shady spots. Don't worry about renting anything.

3. They are both open for most of the year. They definitely will be by spring break

1. Lilo & Stitch have definitely been present and alternated greeting at TL in summer months. Maybe they do that during busy spring break periods? Olaf & Kristoff used to be at BB, but now it is Goofy. He is usually there from spring break period to end of summer.

2. You can find shade. I wouldn’t worry about renting.

3. They take turns being closed for refurbishments in winter months. You should find both open for spring break time period.

Bonus answer: try the mini doughnuts no matter which one you visit.
