Side note: With the new "What are you Celebrating" thing coming up, you can get free entry into a park on your birthday, right? What about when you are on a Disney Cruise ship on you birthday?
Why, you sir are no gentleman!Who would do that....scarlett

What's the appropriate date range for celebrating something on board? I think Princess was something like within 30 before or after the cruise. And do they only recognize birthdays and anniversaries? DH will have FINALLY graduated with his bachelors degree the month before and that's certainly worth celebrating! On a serious note, Disney Cruise Lines is not participating in the "What are you Celebrating" promotion so unfortunately, you don't get a free cruise or even a free day on your birthday.
You can get a complementary cake in the dining room however, and I have set this up for anyone who has already told me they are celebrating (read - please don't inundate me with emails about this today).

My money andis on Brandie.
Sop the recap is now at:
1) Put your luggage under you bed.
2) DCL doesn't give you any promo for a celebration
3) Possible pre-cruise eat & meet if nothing is scheduled by the crew
(still waiting on if Kevin is back to 100% & {secondarily} the Cruise PodCast)
