Side note: With the new "What are you Celebrating" thing coming up, you can get free entry into a park on your birthday, right? What about when you are on a Disney Cruise ship on you birthday?

Raul will come and sing Happy Birthday to you...along with a little dance!

Why, you sir are no gentleman!

;)

Come on...I double dog dare you to challenge me to a GWTW quote contest...LOL

Ohh...a double dog dare, be careful...or you'll shoot your eye out.

On a serious note, Disney Cruise Lines is not participating in the "What are you Celebrating" promotion so unfortunately, you don't get a free cruise or even a free day on your birthday.

You can get a complementary cake in the dining room however, and I have set this up for anyone who has already told me they are celebrating (read - please don't inundate me with emails about this today).

In this corner hailing from the great state of Indiana the sweet, fair, hoosier Scarlett Brandie!!

And in this corner hailing from the frozen mitten of the north, the one the only the 'always carrying a bottle of wine' gonna get a super high post count Dpucky Don!!

Gentlemen to your corners!

What's the appropriate date range for celebrating something on board? I think Princess was something like within 30 before or after the cruise. And do they only recognize birthdays and anniversaries? DH will have FINALLY graduated with his bachelors degree the month before and that's certainly worth celebrating!

Aww Shucks Tracy....just proving again how wonderful you are..:goodvibes ..(now where is that Mother Teresa pic....:lmao: )

Sop the recap is now at:

1) Put your luggage under you bed.
2) DCL doesn't give you any promo for a celebration
3) Possible pre-cruise eat & meet if nothing is scheduled by the crew

(still waiting on if Kevin is back to 100% & {secondarily} the Cruise PodCast)

Thanks for the recap - I slept in this morning and awoke to 4 new pages. (I have got to get on the posting bandwagon to keep up with y'all!!!)

There isn't a limit. If you told me "** is celebrating ** on the cruise" I added the celebration. We will be celebrating my DH birthday which is April 26, but not our anniversary on 5/22 (but this is because we have another cruise on 5/23). If you didn't tell me a celebration and I noticed a birthday within a couple weeks either way, it is likely I added a celebration for you. This assumes that you have all given me your full legal names, dates of birth, addresses, phone numbers and delivery address for documents plus passports if you are going to use them.

Tracy: I haven't applied for my passport yet, but intend to. Can I just send you the number once I recieve it?

Holy Carp you guys, two days and we are at 30 pages. How can you expect anyone to keep up??

:scared1:

This board is going to be might quiet May 9 to the 17, 2009. It'll be a ghost town!!

Yes, passport number and expiration date. Just email it to me when you get it.

Thanks!

Yikes...I can't even remember if I provided our passport #'s. :confused3

OMG! I haven't been here for a couple of days and this thread is LIVE and already has over 400 posts?!!!!! Holy Cow!!!!!!!
