Before the cruise? That is what we are planning. My 4 year olds first time on EE.

Ooops...this would be post cruise. So Saturday May 16th.

I'll be alone on both ends. $99/night is around what I usually pay for a hotel room when we travel (I know, I am a bad traveler--I pay through the nose, but I need pet friendly). So $99/night at a Disney partner hotel is a-okay by me. If I were to spend Thursday & Friday at say AKL, it would cost 42 points for a Studio, and at a bargain basement price of $9/point, that is still $378 as opposed to the $198+tax for the DolFUN....So yeah. For just me....not this time. Maybe I can get a hook up for Mousefest or something...maybe a few of us go in on a larger place?????? Just sayin'

I would like to be in on this also. I will be by myself again.

I don't know what happened. I looked through my junk email also. Nothing in there. I'm not one of the lucky people I guess.

Too bad they're not transferable - I'd gladly send mine on to you. When I signed up, I didn't know they would expire at the end of the year and I know we won't be heading to FL twice this year.

It's fab that so many here are able to take advantage of it and pay for one less!

hehehehehe...I knew she was working on it!

So...how about doing Crystal Palace for lunch and then Columbia Harbor House for dinner? I only suggest it because of the pricing differences. Lunch is about $7 cheaper per adult than dinner...

But i'm cool with whatever the group decides...

How many of us are there that want to do this anyway?

5/15/09 - Hollywood Studios (Rope drop-late AM)
5/15/09 - Epcot (Early afternoon-PM EMH)
5/16/09 - Animal Kingdom (Rope Drop - Early afternoon)

I am trying to figure out where I would like to eat on Friday night. We won't be going to a park so it will have to be outside the parks. Any ideas? I am thinking about doing the dining plan.

So you are talking Friday the 8th? I won't be coming down until way too late for dinner. Maybe The Wave? Narcoosse's? Trail's End?

Assuming everything goes according to plan, DH and I will have to leave the group for our safari and dinner at Jiko right around 3pm to head back to AKL. Not sure what we'll do afterwards...we'll need to pack and head to bed early since we'll be leaving at the crack of dawn to head home on Sunday.

So here are my dining thoughts (not set in stone by any means...will happily change if the group wants something else!):

So Columbia Harbour House is a definite...for lunch...and we can wing dinner! Unless someone has a specific place they want to go for dinner that would require an ADR...

Morning all... I am mostly over the flu that I have been fighting all week so I am off to run errands this morning.

I like the looks of the plans you are coming up with. I will check back so I can talk to the fam about it over dinner. Or after I lend out DH to do some heavy lifting for one of our friends.

Darn I get such a late start when I don't have time for breakfast before DD goes to school...and now all the Disney food talk...
