First Ever DISUnplugged Podcast Cruise Five Alive

Wow, my first post on this thread is on page 35...this has to be a record!

I've been at a conference for the past couple of days...I tried to read through the thread, but honestly, kids...some things I just don't want to wade through.

So, can someone do a brief synopsis of things I might have missed, that I MIGHT remotely be interested in knowing? Pre-cruise stuff? Anything?

hehehehehe...I knew she was working on it! :cool1:

So...how about doing Crystal Palace for lunch and then Columbia Harbor House for dinner? I only suggest it because of the pricing differences. Lunch is about $7 cheaper per adult than dinner...

But i'm cool with whatever the group decides...

How many of us are there that want to do this anyway?

Good morning all.

The good thing about this cruise is it has a lot of DVC owners on it. If anyone is looking to rent they will now personally know lots of people.

Renting point for a weekend night is not the best deal, not the worst either. The rate at the Dolphin is hard to pass up, but normally $260 for a night at the BC won't be an ok deal.

Fair warning. Crystal Palace is usually PACKED! It's a good buffet, but will they seat you if your entire party isn't there?

Columbia Harbor house was just a thought because it's a bit more laid back.

I'm good with that...we'll have our character meal before the cruise anyway :)

So Columbia Harbour House is a definite...for lunch...and we can wing dinner! Unless someone has a specific place they want to go for dinner that would require an ADR...

Not yet. I got up to go the bathroom and DP slid right in and stole the computer out from under me!!! Other wise I would have and had something to report this morning.

Thanks for sharing!!!

Your welcome. I guess you should share the computer every once in awhile!:thumbsup2

Anyone interested in AK on Saturday? I've never ridden on EE and would love to sneak it in!!

I am trying to figure out where I would like to eat on Friday night. We won't be going to a park so it will have to be outside the parks. Any ideas? I am thinking about doing the dining plan.

Before the cruise? That is what we are planning. My 4 year olds first time on EE.

How funny is this...

So I posted my woes last night about not being able to get DH to extend our stay after the cruise so that we could do the safari. Last night he seemed to want no part of it whatsoever...

I mention the thought of renting points. Told him the arrangement that I could make with Jen's assistance and his interest seemed peaked.

He wants no part of staying as cheaply as possible...even though it's one heck of a deal for a deluxe resort.

He wants me to book the concierge level...:rotfl:

He's so much like Paul that it's funny. I look for the cheap deals...and he speaks deluxe all the way...:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

How we change our minds. :rotfl:

So did everyone that signed up get one of those free ticket things? I didn't sign up until I read about it here on Monday morning, which by then I would imagine that 300,000 people had signed up for it......:confused3

I didn't and I signed up during the Super Bowl.:sad2:
