I hear ya! I need to get my rear in gear for a 3rd grade vday party, buy all the food for DS's den for winter camp. Then I need to pull a rabbit out of a hat by coming up with snacks for all 4 days of state exams for 300 3/4/5th graders with a total budget of $150.

Thank GOODNESS our carnival was last year. I had to buy all the game prizes so I know *all* the novelty toy sites out there which helps immensely with our FE gifts!

I'm not quite sure how I'm going to pull this one off!

Call your local grocery stores. They may be willing to donate items close to expiration or donate a gift card to purchase what you need.

O.K. I have to go to Weight Watcher's.
Don't go crazy while I am gone.
(Recap)
Last 5 weeks
Lost 7.4 lbs.

Thats great! We don't have WW here. I need to start going to the GYM again. I am starting to get a plan together. In the past I lost 103 pounds, so I know what I need to do. I just have to get moving!

Good luck at WW today!:thumbsup2

Okay guys,
I'm gonna try and keep up with this one! I have to go back and read a FEW pages still.

All this tax talk has me a little depressed. I work three days a week, and my other days now are filled with...DOING TAXES!!!! I don't have enough time to keep up with you guys!

I'll do my darndest, and I'm just pushing for beating my old record of FIVE posts on the 4th thread! I really think I should be able to do that...only 3 more posts to go!

Oh yeah, and I just got back from Target where I just bought all the candy and stuff for my 4th grader's Valentine's party! I went way overboard as usual, but I figure I'm the only mom in her class that will do anything for these parties. Go figure. Valentine parties are so hard to plan. What do the boys want to do at this age? Girls are so much easier, since Valentines day is so girly anyway...:confused3

Any ideas?

Oooohh - only two more to go now to beat my old record!

bingo is always a big hit. I have cards somewhere from last year that spell out HEART across the top. Use candy convo. hearts for place markers. I also put together 3 jars of various sizes w. m&ms or candy hearts and they have to guess how many are in there- closest one gets the jar. We're not alloted much time so the kids will make their own sundaes, exchange valentines and play a couple games and that's it.

I'm number 13, that is if I can count right. I'm just happy to be included :)

madi100 - you're such a sweetie!! :grouphug: don't worry by the time we're on the cruise I still won't know most people's real names :lmao:

UGH! I hate February. Anyone want to help me pop popcorn on Friday for 270 kids? Bake cupcakes for the lunch lady's birthday on Monday? Hand out cupcakes to kids at school on Monday for the lunch lady's birthday? Anyone want to help give Iowa Tests of Basic Skills to kids who can't get to school on time? Anyone want to help me sell raffle tickets? How about count them? Count the money? Get volunteers? Run a carnival? Have a slumber party for 7 girls on Friday night? Go to a soccer game on Thursday night? I hate February!

Ahh, you have no idea of what a charmed life you lead, and how many others would love to have your fun :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

In the past I lost 103 pounds, so I know what I need to do. I just have to get moving!

Wow, that's amazing - congrats! :thumbsup2

What time would one expect to be back in the Disney World Metropolitan Area on Thursday? Noon? 11? 1?:confused3

I've always gotten back to WDW by 10 or 10:15 at the latest. You can get off the ship as soon as it clears customs which is usually around 7:30 am. Late dining has their official breakfast at around 8 or 8:15.

I know we were off the boat and in the car by 8:15 on our cruise. (Early dining)

Don't we have to be off of the ship by 9am? If that's the case, then I guess it would depend on how quickly our various forms of transportation got us there...

For the most part everyone needs to be off the ship by 9am. Of course if the ship doesn't clear customs on time, it can be later.

Okay I am sending out the latest schedule spreadsheet to everyone that PM'd me (today and before). If you notice something that isn't listed or listed incorrectly, please let me know and I will fix it up ASAP--which well be about 3 seconds after I get your e-mail.....:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

How come I didn't get mine?

I was asking DH what he wanted to do about park tickets for the cruise and he promptly decided we all needed to sit down together and sort it out. All I can say is a big thanks Todd! I plan to print the spread sheet and see what we can take in and use that to help sort out park tickets.

DH tends to need the visual and DD is 7 - I am going with the idea that if she gets into 1 or 2 parks and does at least 2 KP missions at Epcot she will be happy.

What's everyone without AP's doing?

The more I look at the grid, the more I don't like the coloring I did.....I am going to color code it according to park, then shade it for dining/attractions. That might help your DH...I know it would make more sense to me.

I hope to buy an AP with part of my tax return. If I don't I will figure out what the best deal is with a Magic Your Way, plus Park Hopper and No-Expiration option.

Since we only have a Saturday pre-cruise and post-cruise until late afternoon Sunday, I decided to get the non-hopping 4 day version with Water Parks & DisneyQuest. We'll spend full days in MK and Epcot and half days in AK and DHS. I ordered them on-line in the summer before the prices went up :goodvibes Good luck with your planning! :thumbsup2

cheers,

We had AP's about a year ago - we had one long trip planned, plus I knew I would be taking another trip...it wasn't long before weather & stress had me looking for cheap airfare...I managed to sneak in one last trip on that pass.

If you do the AP and plan on sit-down meals, the Tables in Wonderland is SOOO worth it. For 3 of us, we saved the price of the card in 3 meals.

I'm trying to figure out park passes too...if it's not that much more expensive, I may buy one that is a bit longer than I need for this trip but with the no-expiration option on it. That way I have it for a possible MF trip!
