First Day vs Waiting for OBB?

I was surprised and excited to see early 2018 itineraries had been announced today!!

We're looking at the Westbound Panama Canal cruise on the Wonder, but we also have a cruise on the Magic in early December that I was hoping to use the OBB discount for.

Do people have an opinion of what's better/cost-effective? Trying to get the opening day prices or wait until we can book on-board and get the 10% discount (and shipboard credit)?

I'd suggest booking opening day. Then when you are on your cruise in December you can re-shop. If the fares haven't increased considerably since then you can make an OBB and cancel the opening day booking; if fares have increased, it may not be worth it.

Enjoy your cruises!
