Fireworks?

We are staying at Pop and while my son loves fireworks, I don't see us being the parks late enough to view them there.

Where outside of the parks could we go see them each night? I thought I read somewhere you can see them from the bridge that connects to Pop to AOA, but I cant find that post again?

Oh I am not sure about that viewing spot, but the assorted fireworks are visible from some spots outside the parks. I think I too have seen posts reporting being able to see them. Try the POP info thread over in the RESORTS section of the DIS. It might even have photos! (+ the AoA resort thread)


We once saw the MK fireworks from the plane as we landed! Guests can also see (though partly blocked) the HS and Epcot fireworks from the lagoon outside both parks (by BC/YC/Swan/Bwk). I've even seen Illuminations from the Marriott World Center. (non WDW hotels). When offsite, higher often = better view.

I have not tried to see them from Pop. You can ask at check-in. The CM's will know. I can tell you, you won't get the sound, and you will most likely have some obstruction.

Folks talk about seeing fireworks from the MK monorail resorts, and there are some options there WITH sound. You can also see the MK fireworks from Ft. Wilderness beach.

My son Loves fireworks too and in 2014 we stayed at Contemporary theme park view and got to see or at least hear (lol, we are early to bed type of folks, so hearing the fireworks every night while we were trying to go to sleep was a tad on the annoying sound, lol) anyways we also did the pirates and pals firework voyage. Don't know if your son is into pirates, but we got to meet Captain Hook and Mr Smee and then got on boats on the lagoon and sang pirate songs up until the fireworks, it was very cool to see the fireworks from the lagoon, then when we got back to the docks we got to meet Peter Pan and it was 1 of the best character interactions for my son. Peter Pan talked to him for like 5 minutes, he was so excited bc he LOVES Peter Pan. Anyways thats a ton of fun and something to consider, plus you don't get the crowdedness of the parks for Wishes.
