I am planning a December trip and I was reading my Unofficial Guide and noticed that fireworks in the Magic Kingdom and also the information about Illuminations says that it is "offered nightly when the park is open late". Does this mean that sometimes they don't do Illuminations and fireworks in the MK? I know the parks close fairly early in December so will we be able to see fireworks in the parks? If you've been in December, do they do the shows every night? Thanks!!!

Fireworks at Epcot every night, fireworks in Magic Kingdom a few nights spread out during the week. That's why the MK will be packed some days, people go the days they have the fireworks or the Electrical Parade. No worries, there is plenty to do and see in December, Fireworks at Epcot, MK, Fantasmic and Osbourne Lights at MGM, Christmas Tree lighting and Candlelight Processional at Epcot, and Electrical Parade at MK. Hope you have a good time, we'll be there in early December. We never seem to have time to do everything.
