I saw on Etsy that people are selling Little Golden Books that have been turned into journals. I didn't want to pay $16 plus shipping, so I decided to give it a try and made my own.
I found "Donald and the one bear" for fifty centy and "Mother Goose" for $3. I took the spine apart and made some neat journal pages on cardstock, then stapled it all together with a heavy duty stapler. (I was going to get them coil bound, but the spines on the cover and back didn't look great, so I wanted to cover them with tape.)

Thanks for letting me brag! The kids can't wait to fill these up with autographs!
