We are 26 days out and I'm so glad to finally have finished "the shirts"...all 60 of them! There are 15 in my group (14 females, one little male), and I made 4 shirts for each. I'd like to thank the following disigners for their awesome designs and willingness to share: Donatalie, Maize & Blue, tmdart, triplefigs, and Shell. A big thank you to all of the designers and to those who gave instructions on the spiral tie dye Mickey thread! I used Amy(M_I_C_K_E_Y)'s dark transfer paper and they were so easy to work with with. I'll definitely use them again!

Wow, 60 shirts!!! You must be exhausted. They look great!

The "what happens in Disney" design is Triplefig's.

Everything looks great. You spent a lot of time trimming them out.

Great job!

Those look amazing!! I especially love the tie-dyed Mickey shirts, they look great! I agree with TinkerKat; those shirts make me want to plan my own vacation right now just so I can make those awesome designs! Great job! :thumbsup2

Super job!! You all are going to be able to find each other in the crowd with all those matching shirts!!! :thumbsup2 Have a great trip!!!

Great job! Totally impressed you cut out and ironed 15 star designs (btw one of my favorites)!!! I only did two (one for me and one for DD) and those suckers took me as long as all the rest of our shirts combined.:rotfl:

Great job on the shirts! They look fantastic!!! You will get so many compliments on them and your group will LOVE them!:thumbsup2

Thanks, everyone! I handed out the shirts today and everyone in my group did love them. I can't wait to wear them at WDW!!

Wow, everything looks absolutely amazing! I can't imagine how long that must have took you but it is definitely worth it, they are unreal!

May I ask you two quick questions. I have never tie dyed before but your shirts are wonderful. Were the instructions from the tie dye thread easy to follow? Also, how did you add your bling to those shirts in the shape of the Mickey Head? What did you use and did you follow a pattern?

TIA,
April

Thank you! This was my first tie dye project and the directions and tips on the spiral Mickey tie dye thread are excellent. You get the actual mickey head by first tracing a pattern, then stitching around the mickey head with floss, etc. It's explained much better in the thread. I used 4mm plastic crystals that I found at my local craft store and attached them with fabric glue.

Everything looks GREAT!

Did you use Amy's transfers on the bags for the "girls just want to have fun"?

If anyone wants the Tink "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" DISign...it is one of "Shell's Shirts":

Thank you for reminding me where I got the design from :goodvibes. I'll edit my post to acknowledge Shell.

I didn't iron that design on. I had it printed on the tote bag along with the "I heart Walt Disney World". I did iron on the design on the opposite side.
