Finally! 
After almost two years since our first DVC tour, we were back at WDW and we finally purchased. At SSR and BCV! Had to do the SSR, as that is what is currently for sale. Then did an add-on for BCV since the wife really wanted some points in the Boardwalk area for easy access to MGM during Super Soap Weekend (she is starstruck).
Several changes in life over the two years including a bambino on the way (and what kid doesnt like Disney), and being able to buy through the cast member program (a BIG thanks to my BIL, Alex, hes a cook in the English pub at Epcot) made the DVC increasingly more valuable and doable for us.
I just wanted to say thanks for the info as a lurker, and hi as a newly registered member.
Also a special thanks to Caskbill for the DVC Planner Program. It is very cool!
