Nice TR practice. :) Too bad you didn't find the TAPS booth. That would've been so cool. Two years ago DF and I did a two week tour of FL and hit St. Augustine. I made him stay an extra day just to sign up for the St. Augustine lighthouse tour at night. It was sooo awesome!! Unfortunately there was this group that was annoying, they kept taking photos so there was constant flashes of light. Before we started the tour we were told to keep chatter to a minimum and that same group was talking so loud it was very upsetting. We ended up spending most of our time in the house across the way. At the end of the night the tour guide was offering for another 20 bucks to stay for another hour or two, we did this and I am so glad. It was just us and this other couple in the lighthouse. I swear to you while we were sitting at the bottom of the lighthouse, I thought I heard someone humming a song. That was the only thing we experienced there.

How to Get Rid of Stretch Marks?
Woe to the woman who prizes her breasts, and loves to show the tops or her cleavage, and then she develops breast stretch marks. If her partner is someone who adores a great bosom, then her worries and sadness increase.

I saw this and was like 'What the heck'. People are creating accounts to post spam on TR's? So weird.

I reported that post as spam! I meant to quote it saying "my bosom is just fine thankyouverymuch!"

I've heard St. Augustine I very pretty. That one place I've always want to check out. You cool that you got to see the Lighthouse. I've heard all kind of spooky things about it.

I love the TAPS team, they are my favorite of the "Ghost Hunters" type show. The "Ghost Adventure" guys on the travel channel just annoy me. They are so over dramatic and they come off as obnoxious frat boys.

This weekend Steve and I will be heading up the Wisconsin Dells to spend our Anniversary. There is a Outlet Mall that has Disney Store. A few years ago, on a family trip we stopped off at this mall to kill time before a movie and spent at least 45 minutes at this Disney Store. I have all the things that a regular Disney Store has for half the price!!

I got a Jack Skellington T-shirt and some Mickey Mouse PJ pants for less that $15 all together. Steve found a really nice Jack Skellington hoodie for $20. I know I'm going to hit this place up at some point.

I will be sure to post my spoils when I return!!

Wow, great deals at the store!!! Nowadays, I buy all my Disney clothes at Walmart. It's just too hard for me to find clothes that fit in the store

It looks like you had a lot of fun at the comic book convention! I want to play Quidditch! I clicked on that Chris Farley link and remembered that bit  “Remember when you…” then “That was awesome.” :lmao: Anyway, I hope you had a good anniversary weekend!

Hello Peeps!! :wave2:

I'm back from my very lovely relaxing weekend away. Steve and I had a really nice time. We went up the Wisconsin Dells, which is a popular family vacation destination in the midwest here. If you're from Chicago or the surrounding suburbs I can almost guarantee you've been to the Dells at least once in your lifetime. It's most a summer vacation area an not many things are opening during the winter but we had a good time none the less. I did check out that Outlet Mall while I was there and found some good deals. One thing I had completely forgot about since the last time I'd been there was the fact that is an open air mall. There is a roof over the inside of the mall but the doorways are wide open. I guess since the last time I was there it was summer I didn't think about it. But this weekend it was only in the 30's. Brrrr. I was freezing. I even stopped in Pac Sun to get a hat. A very cute grey courderoy news boy hat with a bow, I might add. :p And of course THE DISNEY STORE!!!

This Disney store even had merchandise from Disneyland. I was really surprised, maybe it's because it was an Outlet Store :confused3 I got a pair of Jack Skellington PJ pants for $4. I saw them online for sale a few months back, and I wanted to get them for my hospital stay but when I went to my local Disney Store they were no where to be found. So I snatched up here as soon as I saw them. Steve and I also got some aluminum bottles. I've trying to drink more water lately, so I thought an aluminum bottle with Mickey on it might help me along. Steve picked up a Grumpy bottle.

I thought I was doing really good, spent less that $20. That's when the cashier told me about their Tangled promotion. I remember these from when I was a kid. My grandparents would always pre-order Disney movies so that we can get the Lithographs the movie came with. Well, with the promotion you not only received lithographs but also a Repunzel bag, AND when you get the DVD you get a $10 coupon to use in the store.

Have I seen Tangled yet? Nope. Did I pre-order the DVD. ::yes:: Am I nuts for buying a movie I haven't even seen before. I guess you're the wrong people to ask. :rotfl: But you can't really go wrong with Disney right?

Steve took that bag had a smirk on his face. I just looked back and said "I'm a sucker aren't I?"

As we were walking through the mall Steve says: "I look so manly with this awesome PINK and PURPLE "Tangled" bag. :rotfl2:

I told Steve he's going to have to physically stop my from buying things I don't need when we go to Disney.

Oh, you're going to like Tangled. I need to pick up the DVD myself and I also have a Tangled bag!! I'm not sure why, but Rapunzel just really appeals to me, more than any other princess.

So glad to hear you had such a nice weekend! Can you put up a picture of your hat? It sounds cute!

I haven't seen Tangled yet either but I am sure it is good. I would've signed up for that deal too!!! :rotfl:

That is so great that you were able to find the PJ bottoms you wanted previously.

LOL, don't worry about buying things you don't need at Disney. Indulge and enjoy it!!! I have countless mugs from Disney but I still keep looking at them everytime I'm in the store. :goodvibes

Score on the PJs! It sounds like you had a lot of fun :) Yes, we might be the wrong bunch to ask if you are crazy or not for getting a DVD of a movie you've never seen  but you really can't go wrong with Disney. The stories are always well written and appeal to kids as well as adults - there are very few Disney movies I didn't like. As far as Tangled, I have a feeling you'll like it. There's a lot of dark and sarchastic humor in it and it's just a plain good story. OK, I'll end my movie review here :lmao: Tell us how you like it!

Disney never disappoints! I think Rapunzel in my new favorite Disney Princess. She sort of reminded me a lot of myself, minus the super long hair and being held in a tower against my will. I loved the character of Rapunzel, the fact that the viewer knows the whole time that Mother Gothel is not really her mother and is manipulation Rapunzel the entire time killed me. But I love how it ended, don't want to spoil it for those who haven't seen it. I also loved the character of Flynn Rider and how Rapunzel wins him over. Mother Gothel is also a really really great villain, in the sense that as a viewer, you really really hate her. :furious: And no Disney movie is complete without adorable and/or funny animal sidekicks for comedic relief: Pascal and Maximus. Steve thought that Pascal was the superior animal in the film (his words exactly), however I really loved how Maximus takes on human qualities at times. C'mon Flynn Rider and Maximus the Horse sword fight. It was so AWESOME!!:yay: I don't think there's anything about the film I didn't like. The song we're really catchy and heart warming. I did however think the scene in the boat when Flynn and Rapunzel are watching the floating lanterns was a tad similar to the "Kiss the Girl" scene from the little mermaid. But all in all I would HIGHLY recommend Tangled. I am not disappointed with my purchase to say the least. :cloud9:

I was hoping you'd like the movie! I think Rapunzel is my new favorite princess too. I especially love that part when she was feeling very conflicted. It was a very well written and cute scene. Gothel. Oh, Gothel. I absolutely love her. She was just The Worst! Which made her the best Disney villain ever. I also agree that Maximus was pretty cool. You're right, that lantern scene was similar to The Little Mermaid, but it had me in tears anyway :lmao: My daughter and I were bawling through so many scenes in Tangled :rotfl:

OMG, the scene where Rapunzel is conflicted!!! It was like looking in the mirror. I'm so indecisive about things and this is usually what I do. Steve laughed and agreed Rapunzel and I are so similar. I think my favorite line in that scene is: "What Mother doesn't know won't kill her/ THIS IS GOING TO KILL HER!!!"

The pre-order package deally came with a bunch of lithographs. One depicts the scene in the boat with all the floating lanterns surrounding Rapunzel and Flynn. I'm going to frame it and put is in my living room. My other favorite is one of Rapunzel's towel which I also want to frame. There are a few more, one of a closeup of Rapunzel hugging Maximus' face I think I'm going to give to my little cousin's to hang in their bedroom.

I've decided my PTR and eventual TR needs a mascot? But what?? Other people have had Mascots for their TR's. Liesa has Tate. Yuki has McDuff. Rosie has Dancing Poles.

But what will mine but. Stay Tuned for my quest to find a little friend to share my journey to The World.

McDuff is my mascot? Haha, I never thought of him that way before.

Yeah, that conflicted scene is just ADORABLE. I also LOVE the humour in Flynn!!

Can you post pictures of your lithograph?

I also think Gothel was a great villain. Just....incredible design and voice-acting of her character.

I LOOOOVE Pascal, but the only plushies I find of him are the sparkly shimmery ones. I want just...regular...matte colour, no sparkles or anything

"What Mother doesn't know won't kill her/ THIS IS GOING TO KILL HER!!!"

Best. Line. Evar!!! :lmao: I'd also like to see the swag from your pre-order. I'm kinda surprised at myself that I haven't gotten Tangled yet, but I'm ordering it tomorrow when I can order Tron too.

At the risk of sounding like an idiot, what is the point of a trip mascot? I'm not asking because I think it sounds weird, I'm asking because I'm wondering if I might want to jump on the bandwagon :rotfl:

I'll post some pictures of the Lithographs and my bag tonight. :thumbsup2

The mascot thing - you bring like a toy or something with you and pose the toy in different places throughout your trip. Sort of silly things. Sort as if it's enjoy the trip along with you.
Once TR I read, a guy would take his kid's Stitch plushie, set it up on a lounge chair by the pool, pop a pair of sun glasses on it and put a bottle of beer next to it, take a picture and say "Stitch is having some fun out by the pool." Just sort of goofy things like that.

I'm just a goof ball and I can think of all sorts of goofy situations I can come up with. :lmao:

OK, here are my thoughts on a trip "mascot" (again, never thought of Tate in those terms..)

Tate sort of morphed, in fact, the whole idea was to just take him along and get some extra outfits at OUaT for him. The legend of Tate grew, as did his personality, and one thing led to another- all through the imaginations of my readers.

Taking Tate was incredibly fun, and added some hilarious moments and some seriously great CM interactions. He's barely begun to show up so far in my TR, but I can guarantee, more silliness is about to ensue.

I think McDuff is just too cute not to be your Mascot Yuki. lol.

Awww, thanks! Yeah, McDuff is adorable. He always catches the eyes of babies, which is great because I love kids!

I just wish he were a little smaller so he could be more portable. It's not easy trying to seat him at a two-person table when it's just Andrew and I, or a 4-person table when I'm out with my bff and her dbf. I HAVE grabbed those highchairs for him to use before, though.

I can't wait to get the Duffy wristlet so I have a more portable Duff to carry around with me.
