My wife tried to get figaro fries on Saturday and was politely turned away by a CM that said they just changed the menu and no longer offer them. She was very disappointed. We also ate at Columbia Harbor House for the first time (was very good by the way and will return) the nice CM at check out also mentioned the menu just changed their because it was his first day back to work and could not fine anything on his register we were ordering. He had to look at the menu because he did not recognize what we were ordering and was shocked it was on the menu.

They were on the menu as of February but they changed them. They just had cheese and bacon on them, with no lettuce, tomato and ranch dressing.

Bummer - We never got to try them . We wante to last year but somehow never got over there at the right time.

Bummer that they got rid of even the cheese fries with bacon (lol - I refuse to refer to those as Figaro Fries )

We had them in Jan 2008 and it was the one snack my mom and husband were REALLY looking forward to having again.....how am I going to break the news to them:confused3

What was new on the Columbia Harbour House menu? Or what did you order that was new to the CM? Love this place--

DW and I were over at MK the other day and went to get our usual lunch (Figaro fries and a glass of ice water from Pinnocho's Village Haus). I didn't even look at the menu because we always get them every time we've been over to visit the MK. I walked up to the counter and the CM asked what I wanted and I stated "2 orders of Figaro fries and 2 glasses of ice water." She then replies "Sorry, Figaro fries are no longer on the menu." I stood there like WHAT!?!? She said they had taken them off like 3 weeks ago. I haven't been around the boards much, but has anyone heard about any other menu changes around the world? Do they do it all at one time or just each eatery decides on its own?

Yeah, I was there on Aug 14 and they weren't on the menu either. I was so disappointed.

I'm going to move this to the restaurrant board. Thanks Rich

Yeah it was the fried shrimp platter that I ordered and the CM didnt know it was on the menu. It was funny he had to turn around and look at the menu board then he couldnt find it on his computer screen.

BTW they have great sweet tea!!!!! The best I found all week, it was not from a fountain machine.

That makes me think of the veggie burger I got at ASSP. I was expecting lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, etc., but when I asked for toppings I was told I could only have bacon and cheese! I thought it was a communication problem, but maybe not.

We usually go to Cosmic Ray's and order fries and a pack of ranch dressing and then make our own Figaro Fries, as close to the original as we can get using the fixins bar. I always tell the person who takes my order what I'm doing and that person always smiles really big. :rotfl:

Love fried shrimp! I'm glad to hear they have it on their menu now. Do you remember how many pieces you get?

Sorry I do not remember but I do remember not eating them all and having a few left over (not because it was not good, they were very good) because I had some food from someone elses plate and I was full.

You get 10 Shrimp, French Fries, and a small dish of coleslaw. And they're the normal 21/25 size shrimp

PVH has added a Chicken Parmesan dinner. CHH has add a Fried Shrimp Platter all day (really good too!!), Pecos Bill's has a Fried Chicken/corn/mashed potato platter for dinner (really yummy too!), Fryer's Nook (formely the Village Fry Shoppe) has a Chicken Parmesan sandwich to their menu.

Make sure you let them know that you don't like that they took them off the menu. Not too long ago they took the Cheese out of Cosmic Rays. Tons of people let them know they were upset by this and as of January anyway was added back to the fixins bar. :thumbsup2

Bummed about this as we were going to get them in a month for the first time.
