I am looking to replace everything in my house and want to buy Fiesta dinnerware..my mom said something about Megachina..just wondered if anyone has ordered from there. They seem to have the best price on what I want. Thanks:)

I have seen Fiestaware for sale at Kohl's. I know I frequently get a coupon in the mail from Kohl's and have seen them run sales, but don't recall the price.

Fiestaware is made by Homer Laughlin Co. Maybe you could see if you can buy directly from the company.

This is the dinnerware at Disney's Old Key West Resort.

Other places that put it on sale on a regular basis are Macy's and Belks.

The sale is usually buy one get one free or about 50% off. They seem to run about once every three months.

The only problem I see with ordering it online is that due to weight the shipping could really add up.

Also keep in mind that different stores sell different sets of Fiesta. Belk's has the 4 piece set. Plate, dessert plate, bowl, and mug which is what I buy because I don't need saucers. I think this is what Macy's has too. Kohl's has the 5 piece with a cup and saucer in place of the mug. There is also the square pieces now.
I LOVE my Fiesta! I wait until Belk has their buy 4 sets get 1 free and I can get 5 sets for right at $100. I've even had 10-15% off coupons to pair with that sale which makes them a great deal!

I bought all of my 5 piece sets at Kohl's online around Christmas. I only buy when they are on sale, I have a coupon (usually 30%) and are having Kohl's cash. I believe the next sale they are having is March 3-10 and they are having coupons (I believe "MARCH30" will get you 30% off if you are a card holder and they are having Kohl's cash (get $10 Kohl's cash to spend in the store for every $50 spent online). Not sure if they will be having free shipping or not yet.

I love Fiesta ! Sorry that I cannot offer an opinion on the company you mentioned, though.

I usually get my sets at Macy's - because they sell the sets I like with the mug, etc. and as PP mentioned, the sets are not all the same from store to store.

I wait until they go on sale at 50% or BOGO. Fairly often, you can get free shipping with min. $$ purchase.

i bought most of my sets from Amazon. Free shipping! It really adds up.

I love my Fiestaware. It lasts and looks great. I love mixing and matching the colors.

All our everyday china is Fiestaware, luckily we bought it years ago, that said check around discount china places. We have one here in town that sells fiestaware seconds for a fraction of the price of new and you can barely see what the flaw is.

Also I believe that Home Laughlin has a outlet store(seconds) open Mon-Thurs

I love, love, love my Fiestaware. I love mixing the colors and still smile when I look at them all stacked on the shelf. I only buy when they are on sale and that has been from Kohl's, Macys in the store and on-line. I only bought 2 sets and realized I didn't need the tea cups and saucers so I just buy individual pieces.

How fun to be replacing everything in your house :)

I found out by accident that great outdoors sells fiestaware also. Also jcpenny sells in catalog along with flatware sets.

As a Fiesta collector - I welcome you to the addiction! Much of what I own for everyday use came from the Homer Laughlin Factory tent sales. I do also buy a fair amount from Macy's and Elder-Beerman locally.
I have ordered from Megachina and have had great luck. Their prices are decent and they offer free shipping for orders over $99.99 - so if you are ordering enough to get the free shipping, you may get a good deal. Macy's does often offer free shipping online.
I usually prefer to buy things locally though, because I can look at the pieces and make sure they are not damaged.
Some other online stores I have ordered from are Boscov's, Homer Laughlin Factory and Amazon.

Fiesta is all we use. Most have come from the factory stores in Wheeling and Flatwoods,WV. They both have a seconds room, but if I recall correctly, the store quality merchandise is significantly below regular retail.

I used Megachina to buy all of my Fiestaware and loved it. They have good prices and free shipping over $100, plus you can customize your set with different colors. I didn't want the standard bowls or any mugs, so I just bought individual pieces. I also wanted one of each color instead of all one color.

I did the same. I ordered fromm Megachina and was extremely happy. I wanted extra small bowls along with the sets and mugs w/ the bigger handle so it made sense to order piecemeal so to speak. I also wanted all differant colors and 3 yrs later I'm still in love w/ it.

you do know the colors change all the time, right?

What colors do you have?

I have black, rose, yellow, apricot, Periwinkle Blue, Turquoise, Lilac, Sea Mist Green, another dark blue/green I do not know the name of, a few pieces of Chartreuse mostly pitchers, and a prized light green platter.

I've been looking at the Fiestaware lately. We desperately need new everyday china. I'm wondering, though, when you put the pieces in the microwave, if they get really hot. With our schedules someone is always eating later and the dinner plate gets put in the microwave to reheat.

I don't find this to be a problem at all. What I love most about my Fiestaware is that when a piece gets broken it does not matter if you can't find the same color.....I am very lucky to live near Galveston where there is an outlet store. It is one of my favorite Saturday outings.

Fiesta holds up great in the microwave, dishwasher and even in the oven. All of the pieces are oven safe and the baking dishes are the best.

I got a heck of a deal on my Fiestaware from Kohl's before Christmas. I had a 30% off discount on the catalog that arrived in the mail, so I took that in and picked up 8 place settings at the $26.99 sale price.

When I got to the register, the sales clerk rang me up and then told me to choose a scratcher card. I had already showed her the 30% off from the catalog and wanted to make sure she knew that was my discount. She said I was also allowed to pick a scratcher card, too. I said, "I get both?" She said yes, I got an additional discount. So, I picked a scratcher card and got a 20% off card on top of the 30% off!

I don't think she did this right, but I asked her again to make sure I was getting my 30%. She showed me the computer screen which showed both discounts. The total came to $120.91 before tax. And, I also got a $20 certificate in Kohl's bucks to spend two days later. So, I got 8 five piece place settings from Fiestaware for $100!!

We have had ours for 25 years and I have only ever cracked one piece. It is probably the sturdiest dinnerware you will ever own.
