Few firsts, friends & H. P. an Oct. TR - New 3/4 - THE END...

Great update Scot I agree Lion King is better but everyone should at least see once !!! Carol also made the same comment FOTLK rules !!

Great pictures and video from Finding Nemo! One day we will see that show!

I don't think I will ever convince my family to do It's Tough to be a Bug -- that was a traumatic experience for them.
Thank you. You should see it at least once. I made it a point to see it. Really it was my only goal in AK.
:rotfl2: it is a little creepy. Last time Vinny sat up so he didn't notice anything, this time I told him to sit back and enjoy, and he did. :lmao:

We sat right there in that same section this summer. All of my pictures were zoomed in, but had I taken a picture from our seat of the full stage, it would have looked just like that.

I like the show, too. It's so colorful, and I love watching Brooklynn's face as she follows along, because she is totally into it. We have the CD, so she knows every word of the whole musical.

The Kobe burger and fries look good. We haven't eaten at Yak & Yeti, although I have had the counter service part of it before. The main reason is the 'different' kind of food that doesn't appeal to everyone in the group. If everyone knows a good burger is an option if they can't find something they like, maybe they'll be more willing to give it a try.
I was channeling Memom. :lmao:
It is really colorful and I think that is what I liked.
You should got here and tell them of the burger, the sides they put on the plate for the burger were so good too.

Finding Nemo is such a great show! Love your photos!
:thumbsup2
Thanks.

Thank you. Yes it is but it is still fun to go see. I will probably skip it the next trip and see Lion King.

It's tough to be bug is so cute. I love taking an afternoon nap.:goodvibes
It is very cute and very creative.
they r wonderful.

After our rest we freshened up and got ready for dinner. Tonight's meal was at a place that Vinny made me cancel back in 2008 because he did not want to take a cab.
Ok, we go out and wait for the bus. And wait. And wait some more. By the 3rd Epcot bus I said let's just jump on this and take the monorail, 2 families followed us.
This trip the buses were HORRIBLE. I have never seen such poor service. I was really shocked as I have always praised POR for the bus service but not no more.

We got to Epcot and walked up to the monorail. We waited a few minutes and we were on our way. The ride is so relaxing but there was a party going on so we saw so many costumes and some of them were a little inappropriate. We transferred at TTC and then were on our way. We did arrive 10 minutes late.

Walking to the back to the restaurant.

We made it

I checked us in and got the buzzer. I went out on the balcony and took some pics.
Night pics looking out the lake.

Vinny waiting. We got a table right across from the window. It was a nice table. We had a great waiter. Forget his name though.

Drinks:
Scott - Pina Colava
Disney2010250.jpg

Vinny:
Water, minute maid light pomegranate lemonade

Appetizers:
Scott:
Fried Rhode Island Calamari - pepperoncini relish, tomato coulis, and extra virgin olive oil
Disney2010248.jpg

This was very good. Crispy and delicious.

Vinny:
Shrimp and Crab Chowder - Dill Créme Fraiche, micro onions, and Narcoossee's Oyster Crackers
Disney2010249.jpg

He said he thoroughly enjoyed it.

Entrees:
Scott - Crab stuffed Filet Mignon (sorry so dark)
Disney2010251.jpg

This was incredible. It was so good wish I packed one to take home.

Vinny: Surf & Turf
Sorry no pic. The reason is when they brought out the meals Vinny's was cold. Not luke warm but cold. So they had to return it and they brought him out a new one. He did enjoy it but said the fact that it was cold kind of ruined the meal.

Desserts:
Scott -
Almond-crusted Cheesecake - with lambert cherry sauce
Sorry no pic. I could not eat it so I asked them to box it up for me. It was good the next day I ate it.

Vinny:
Gelato Sampler - chocolate, raspberry, pistachio and cappuccino
Disney2010253.jpg

He enjoyed it, some more than others.

The bill came to $169.00 before tip. I thought it was very good. I loved the atmosphere and the food was really good. I think we will definitely eat here again.

We walked out and walked over to the boat. Some shots as we waited.

We get on the boat and doesn't Vinny look happy.
Disney2010263.jpg

Ok now he does.
Disney2010264.jpg

After Poly we went to MK and took the bus back to POR.

We watched some TV and then fell asleep.

Have you noticed this trip is different from our others. Very relaxing. Parks were mostly half days.

Up next...

Magic Kingdom

Narcoossee's is a restaurant that always ends up on my potential restaurant list, yet it always seems to get removed in the end. I may have to dine there soon.

Narcoossee's looks like a fabulous restaurant! All the food looks delicious!!!

It has been a very relaxing trip for you so far -- there is something to be said for taking things slow and just enjoying being there. We did a lot of that in July.

sounds like the outfits you saw were kind of like the ones we saw at star wars weekends....some were pretty inappropriate for the parks...especially with the little kids around.

your meal looked good, and that was alot of the garnish stuff (olives) :confused3
with your appetizer.

HEATHER!!!! :yay: Haven't seen you around here in a while. And with another baby!! Hope y'all are all doing okay.

Hey it's good to see you!! :goodvibes I've been missing the DIS terribly! I try to get on as much as I can, but between the kids and my photography, the day just flies by and I barely have time to eat! haha
We're doing good, how are you?

Scott, great updates!! Mmmm, food porn! lol gotta love it.
We saw the Finding Nemo show on our honeymoon in 2007. Did you walk around singing "in the big blue worrrrld" for days after that? I know I did! :lmao:
I love the Disney busses, but the last two times we went, we drove. We ended up being closer to the entrance when riding the tram that way. Plus, with a stroller last time, it was a lot easier than loading it onto a bus everytime! It just seems like you wait for a bus forever sometimes.

Yum Pina Colava is my favorite:lovestruc. The food looks so yummy.
they r good. the best one I had was at WL.
The food was delicious.

You should try it, I am very happy we did and will definitely go back.

I am still singing it sometimes.
I am thinking of renting a car for next October. We shall see.

Another nice TR. One of the things I most like regarding your TR's is they are written in a calm, peaceful type of manner - much like your relaxed trip!

Narcoosees's looks wonderful. January will be our first time there, and we are definitely looking forward to the experience. The crab stuffed fillet mignon looked as good as you stated.

We are at just over a month before we leave - I can hardly believe it. Christmas will come and the mad rush will begin.

Looking forward to more reading - thanks again for sharing. :surfweb:

:welcome:

Thank you. I try to pace myself. My 1st tr I was so excited I raced right through it. :rotfl2:

Ooh lucky you going there so soon. I hope you enjoy the restaurant as I did. it was delicious.

Your trip will be here sooner than you know it. It is always so exciting the final stretch when it comes.

Thanks for reading.

A new day has come and we are ready to hit Magic Kingdom.
We r out the door by 7:20 and waiting, and waiting. Finally around 7:50 a bus came. We got to the park around 8:10 and our reservation was for 8:15.
Disney2010265.jpg

All decorated for Halloween.
Disney2010266.jpg

Looks promising. LOL At 8:10 am when the park is still closed I guess it would.
Disney2010267.jpg

Decorations on Main Street
Disney2010269.jpg

And there she is.
Disney2010271.jpg

A little closer.
Disney2010272.jpg

Ooh
Disney2010273.jpg

I love having breakfast at Crystal Palace before park open. Makes it so worth it.
We went up and checked in. Within 2 minutes we were taken to a table for 2 on the right side of the restaurant.
Our waiter was really great, kept the glasses full and told us not to get food yet as Pooh would be there in 2 minutes. We sat still and sure enough there he came.
Disney2010274.jpg

Don't mind Vinny's finger in the pic. LOL
Disney2010275.jpg

Then came
Disney2010276.jpg

Disney2010277.jpg

Then we had a little break so we got some grub. My plate.

Then it was time for

Then came

Disney2010282.jpg

I love this place for breakfast. The food is good, the characters are great and the staff are always friendly. I highly recommend it and if you do book an early one so it is not so crowded on Main Street.

We waited a few minutes for the check and for Vinny to finish his coffee.

On the way out

Disney2010288.jpg

The bill would have been $48.97 before tip. Well worth it in my eyes.

Up next...

We hit the park, before they drop rope or after?

Ah, early morning on Main Street! So pretty -- especially when it is all decorated for Halloween!

Love all the pictures from Crystal Palace -- Pooh and the Gang are some of our favorites. Of course, when I saw the picture of your plate, I was reminded of something Chelsea said the other day to me, "Do you ever feel guilty when you are eating bacon in front of Piglet?" :lmao: She is such a mess!

I love an empty MK. I noticed they put tarps up on the front of the emporium, they weren't there on Friday night.

I love being able to make it in the Magic Kingdom before the park opens. It's the only way I can get a good picture! :lmao:

I love CP but have not done anything but supper !!! I see Vinnie LOVES Piglet too !!! After my Lap Dance with him he is my Favorite now !!!!!!:rotfl2:

Haven't been to CP in quite sometime. Maybe it's time to go back!
Don't you just love the fall decorations? :thumbsup2
