Hi, everyone!!
I missed you guys! It is wonderful to see how many minutes you were all wracking up over the weekend.

Thank you so much for all the posts wishing me luck. I was getting email notifications of the posts, so I was really feeling your support and good vibes. Thank you!
Tiki - I think it is totally awesome how you have been supporting everyone here. That's so sweet!
I am so appreciative of all the positive spirit in this thread.
I did a TON of walking this weekend. Miles and miles and miles, actually.

Seriously, though, I did about 25 minutes of walking Friday at the airport and at the resort. When I checked in, the castmember was insistent on having Bell Services drive me to my building. When she said it the third time, going on about how far it was from the front desk to my building, I told her "I'm here to do the half-marathon on Sunday. I think I can walk to my villa." LOL! Her only response? "Oh, you're doing the half-marathon? You'll need this." and she handed me the special sheet with transportation instructions. LOL!
On Saturday, we walked more than we should, first at the expo and then to and from the pool and finally at the parking lot at DHS to the front gate and to Mama Melrose's. Again, that night, the Tram Host CM was a bit concerned when we got off the tram instead of taking it to the front gate and said "That's quite a walk. Are you sure you don't want to ride?" and my friend Amy and I laughed and I said "We're doing the half-marathon tomorrow; this will be our final taper session!" He just wished us luck and gave us a huge smile and a thumbs up. I guestimate that I had 90 minutes of atypical walking that day.
Yesterday was the half marathon. I did a total of about 10 minutes of jogging intervals during it (really just wanted to see how the knee would hold up) and walked a total of about 285 minutes throughout the day, much of it at race pace.
Brings me to my goal and new total of 1625/1500.
Thank you again for all of the wonderful good wishes for the race. It was a fun, fun time! Well, all except for about 12.0 miles of it, which was just not pretty for this slowpoke.

I liked the part where we went through the Magic Kingdom, and I liked the part where we went past the cute guys dressed up like princes and asking me to please try on the glass shoe or glass sneaker, and I liked the part in EPCOT walking toward Spaceship Earth, and I really liked the part jogging across the finish line. The rest of it? Not so much.
Truly, though, it was SUCH a fun weekend. I went there, kind of spur of the moment (signed up mid-January) to try to finish a WDW half-marathon after having dropped out over marathon weekend. Dropping out really totalled my confidence but I want the Coast-to-Coast medal. I was really slow yesterday. But I had a great time with awesome WISH friends and Disney bride friends, the weather was mostly perfect (cool), and I spent all of the pre-race and post-race time with goofing off and relaxing. Who could ask for more?
Most importantly, my most recent last race was not a "fail" and I am really looking forward to the
Disneyland 1/2 over Labor Day weekend. I have another 1/2 marathon in less than 3 weeks from now. Then, I'll spend the next 5 1/2 months strengthening and getting fit so that I can improve my pace.
