My daughter was just accepted to the Disney College Program. She is starting February 21. I work in a school so I am off that week and will be taking her down. Were hoping to use points for that visit, February 19-23. Just the 2 of us so we only need a studio. I’ve only found a single night available for that time. Any chance of anything opening up to be able to book? If so, which resort would be most likely?

Things are changing all the time. I’d say SSR, OKW, and AKV have the best chance as they are large.

I would book what you can and keep checking daily, as well as put in a waitlist.

Hi. I came on this morning since we decided to do another trip in January and of course there are currently no studios, with exception a day here/there but I am a master stalker so will try to piecemeal a trip. Have been to SSR and OKW this year and was thinking about trying AKL (although beggers can't be choosers LOL).

For AKL, where would I have best hope Kidani or Jambo, I am not familiar with either one at all. I would try to get Savannah view since if I am there, I may as well see the animals. But, that would also take away a day from vacation. If I did standard view, I could do the full 7 nights. Would it be worth it to give us a day for the savannah view? However there are two days together at SSR, I should maybe grab those. My week is firm since it is before classes start back and also need a week for babysitting my grandson. I am looking at January 15-22 (or 14-22 if OKW).

This is very helpful to me! Thank you SO much! I thought ALK was over Poly for easier to get studios, so this is new to me.
However, this will be our third trip and need a studio AND will be borrowing (which I already have done for our November trip) so Poly is out of the question for me if I want no less than 6 nights (which I do! LOL).

I'll start putting together SSR standard trip and work from there.

AKV is large, but the studios (and 1 & 2 bedrooms) are broken out into 6 separate booking categories (view/location which are further separated by building).
In Jambo House, you have Value, Standard, Savanna and Concierge.
In Kidani Village, you have Standard and Savanna.

Enjoy! We were in a GV in November for our 30th with two other couples. LOVE being able to walk to DTD in the evenings for drinks and dinner and not have to wait for transportation to come back in the evenings. Hope I can piece the week together.
