My Alamo rate just went down another $25 from $159 to $134 for 7 days mid size taxes and fees in. I am still watching National hoping for a rate like last year.

What rate codes/coupons are you using? I can't find anything under $350 for the week I need.

I just got on Alamo using the Visa code and coupon, an economy for 2/2 - 2/9 pickup and return at MCO for 137.36. I'll keep watching, but I'm happy with this price.

I am using AD2739NNF for $30 off, it is good until Feb 6, we are also insider members. Insider corporate Id 7015135. The coupons seem to be higher when you are an insider than the general public coupon

I just rebooked a Standard car for Feb. 4th 2:30pm pick-up to Feb. 11th 4pm drop-off using these same codes and dropped my total price from $239 to $193.

Previously I was using an Entertainment Book (physical) coupon. I saw this new coupon in an email from Alamo, but when I went to book I still saw the message along the line of "this coupon may need to be presented at pick-up". What do I present? The email doesn't show the coupon code AD2739NNF, so I'm not sure that printing it will help. Or does the message always show up whether it's a physical or electronic coupon? Thanks.

Alamo prices for my dates just plunged today. A minivan for 10 days (2/4-2/14) is $294.30 using Costco ID 7014627 and BJ's $40 coupon AD8Z21SDB. I also tried Priceline at $14/day and was declined. It's not going to take much more than that to win a bid with prices this low.....I'll try $15 tomorrow.

I was a bit uneasy booking with the Costco ID since I'm not a member and am unsure if they check for your membership card. However, I googled the coupon code you listed, and found that I could book a Standard car for $162 total using the contract ID 7014136 listed on that coupon. Not only that but the coupon clearly states the contract ID and coupon code so I have something to print out and bring with me; better than what I had before. Thanks for the suggestion!

This is weird, but I'm getting a better deal with alamo by picking up at CCC on feb 15th and dropping off at dolphin on feb 22nd -- it makes no sense to me since it's not really a one way rental.

But I'm saving nearly $40 before tax by doing it

That makes no sense! If you run your dates with the return time of one hour later than your pickup time, your price drops to $220.47 with 7014607 and $35 coupon AD2359FDF...even after paying $9.43 for the extra hour. Keep trying...hopefully it's a glitch that will be changed. Once prices drop like this close to the rental date, they change almost daily. Good luck!

Last night I used the visa code and coupon (found on the mouse savers site through a link on the Alamo page). I used a 12pm pick up and 1pm drop off and got my rate down to $244 w/ tax.

Still hoping to go lower but if not I'm extatic about the price and Alamo!
