We will be joining you on the Dream!!! This cruise is a b-day present for my DD's 16th birthday. It will be me, DH, DS18, DD16, DD's BFF15, DS4, DS1, and my Mom and Dad. This will be our 5th cruise. We are in three rooms on deck 8.

We've done the fish extender exchange on past cruises and had a lot of fun with it. I'd be willing to organize it.

I've done FEs a couple different ways, the first cruise we didn't have very many participating so we just filled the other's bags whenever. The last cruise we had a bunch of participants so everyone had an assigned delivery day that way the kiddos got something every day. I'll keep a list of who is participating, the number of adults and ages of the kids.

I'm so excited to be planning another cruise. We vowed we'd never do another cruise that wasn't a 7-day but the new ship makes up for it. We're looking in to adding the 3-day on the 24th to make it a B2B but don't know if it will happen or not.

I would like to participate in the FE. My husband and I participated last May. There were so many in the group. I had made some folding accordion photo albums. It was a lot of work but fun to look at our stuff each day and deliver our goodies. I also made little luggage tags for the kids.

What exactly is the fish exchange thing? Sorry, I am pretty clueless, I have heard of FE's, but don't quite know what this is all about!

The FE (Fish Extender) exchange is a gift exchange. Outside the staterooms there is a decorative fish that the crew uses as a place to put announcements, invitations, etc. DISers also use this to hang up a "fish extender" which is basically a set of pockets. Other DISers come around during the cruise and leave goodies in your FE, everything from homemade photo books, pirate gear, magnets, candy, toys for the kids, whatever they want to do. If you search fish extenders you will find patterns on how to make them, find links for buying them on e-bay, and ideas of what to put in them.

It is a lot of fun to come back to the room and see what people have left.

Hi, everyone! Just checking in. A little over a year away and we will be on the Dream! The AquaDuck is calling my name...

Luckily, I have my very first Disney Cruise aboard the Wonder on 2/14/10. I absolutely can't wait!

We just booked tonight. My DH and I will be bringing our dd6, ds4,and ds2(at sail time) We'll be travelling with My in-laws and brother in-law and his wife and their 3 kids(ds9, ds6, dd4). This will be our 3rd cruise. Can't wait!

Leaving husband and kids at home (1st time ever) and going with step-mom, niece and 3 sister-in-laws!! We are going to have a great time, can't wait to see the new boat....
