February 12th, 2005 Western. Who's going???

Bill, Are you concerned about flying in the day before because of the ice storm in Atlanta? Because I'm sure all of the ice will be gone way before the 11th. And that's not normal weather for there so I wouldn't worry too much about anther ice delay like that.

Yes, that is true, Julia said the same thing, I just know that if the weather has an opportunity to wreak havoc on a vacation, sometimes mother nature will take the opportunity. Actually I just wanted an excuse to go early, you see minus 15 and minus 20 really sucks :cold: not to mention I am off work at 7pm on Tuesday and I don't have a problem with leavin early :moped:

LOL, OK, I can understand wanting to get out of Canada a little sooner but don't blame it on the weather in Georgia! I guess if you can manage to change your travel plans this quickly, I'd go ahead and do it.

Good morning, boy it looks like we had some late nighters. Ok, her I go again with drilling questions, in the docs they have this bahama imigration form, is that to be filled out even though we are not going to the bahama's?

Also, sorry to hear of all the sick people. Hope everyone gets well b4 we leave. Speaking of Lysol, I have been on a mission to find a travel Lysol to take, all the ones I have at home are empty. So it looks like I will be bringing a large with me.

Hey Steph,
That immigration form is most likely for Castaway Cay. It is part of the Bahamas. Just more paperwork. We should get our docs today from the TA, so I haven't seen it yet.
Mike

The weather's fine here near Atlanta now. Ice storm over. Looks good for next weekend, but I don't know about the following week.

Yes, must fill out the Bahama's Immigration form. There are actually only about 4-5 forms that need to be filled out per person in the booklet. All the other stuff is your contract with Disney. When you have those forms filled out it's best to tear them out of your booklet and paperclip them together. Otherwise you just have to take time to do it at the terminal.

Thanks for the info. I wasn't sure if I should tear them out or not. Now do I leave the booklet at home or do I take that with us after I tear those out.
Steph

I just left mine at home...it's a lot to take along. I like traveling light, light, light...

Hope tommorrow is a better day for you.. Here is a smile your way, with some sunshine... :) :sunny:

Thanks Steph, that's why I enjoy Disney Cruises sooo much. Its great people like you !! :goodvibes

We got our documents today
Sure made the day better but seem my day like some of yours. Kids sort-of illish, work pain & lots of stress.
I'll be so much better once I'm on the ship. Hopefully all will be healthy & stay healthy during cruise. I'm thinging few days of :sunny: is all we need.

I'm sure I'm stressing over the packing way more than I need too. Dh not sure he wants to wear tux. Ok great. Now if he brings a jacket, use it for formal night, can he just wear & shirt & tie for semi formal? Not much of a dress up guy. Not that I am dress up gal. Just told him to let me know what he wants to do soon.

Well off to finish a few thing & get to bed. Trying to keep all our healthy habits. I think if i tell the girls to wash their hands again they are going to throw soap @ me. I sort of over react sometimes.
Wendy

Well, it looks as if once again, I'm the last one up tonight. I just finished up our taxes so I can get those filed before we leave. Now it's off to bed for me. See you all in the morning! :wave2:

My husband will not wear a tux, so suit will be his dress code!!! I'm not one for dressing up either. I am fine in shorts and t shirt all the time....
I wrote to Lysol looking for the trail size cans, hopefully I will hear from them b4 we leave.

Steph,
Let us know what you hear about the trial size Lysol. I may also bring wipes with me. I am a bleach lover at home, but don't want to discolor any of our clothes while on vacation.

Glad everyone's docs are arriving, it's just around the corner!

DH is getting taxes done, we should be all set before we go.
Have to drop off the dog at relative's house this weekend, finish packing, stop mail and newspapers.....hmmm anything else I'm missing?
Teachers have been cooperative with the kids missing 1 1/2 days of school.

D-Niece and D-SIL are ill, they are the last ones to get it as everyone passed it around. Even with good handwashing, we still all managed to catch it.
At least we should all be OK before the trip/cruise.

I can't believe you started this thread last year!! WOW! :earseek: and now its almost here! :Pinkbounc  We will be on the Feb 12th also. Me, Dh, 3 DS's , 6-4 and 4 months, BIL, SIL, MIL my mom and my 18 yr. old sister. This is our 4th DC, but first time on Western with Disney. :cool1: I hope the seas are good and sunny! :sunny: I hope everyone has a great time!

Got my docs yesterday too! My son and I were doing our crazy cruise dance!! :) Funny thing though, when I looked through my booklet I found that I had the info page of another woman going on the cruise this weekend. I started to panic but then looking through the whole booklet, I found my info sheet there as well. I was hoping I could take her place...she's got a room five categories higher than I do!! :) Oh well, my same trip is a $1000 less than hers...just different room.

Yes, I will try to make it at 3. I have been reading here for about 2 years , but finally got to umph up to start posting! Reading all of your posts about our cruise got me soooo excited! How do you think your 4 year old is going to do since your 6 yr old will be in a different group? My boys are real close and my 6 can do anything by himself w/o his brother, but my 4 is attached at his hip. I keep asking him if he will be all right by himself and he says "Yeah, I will make a new friend!" So, I'm hoping! Maybe he can make a buddy w/ your son! :)
