Steph,

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend losing her baby. I can't imagine how horrible that would be. As for me, I've said for most of this pregnancy that I was done after this one. But I have to say that there have been so many problems with my intended mom getting sick and the relationship I had with them wasn't great that I could really see myself doing another one once I'm fully recovered. I did always say I wanted to have 6 childern of my own. So I guess in a way, If I did one more, that would be 6 pregnancies. LOL I'm sure everyone thinks I'm nuts but even with all the discomfort of pregnancy, I still really love it. and yes, this was my first boy.

Oh, and just so you know, Joe is really trying to plan a trip to Cedar Point for next summer. If we do get out that way, I will make sure to let you know because it would be great to see you and Ken.

Hey Jen,

I thought you got along with the couple, what happened? Is she done with all her treatments? I thought they would back out getting a baby because she was sick. I hope you and Joe and the kids come next year that would be great.

The relationship was going pretty good until she got sick. For whatever reason, they quit calling me as much as they had been. And when they would call, it was as if the converstations were forced. Since you've met me, I think you know I'm a pretty easy person to talk to but they just couldn't talk to me. In fact, when I was in labor, I was soaking in the tub and Joe was hanging out in the bathroom with me. You could hear them chatting away in the other room. The minute I came out of the bathroom, they got super quiet again. I had said all along that it seems like they were intimidated by me. I know that maybe doesn't make sense but that's what it felt like.

She is still doing treatments but I know she had a CT scan today to see how the tumors were doing. She says that she can't really feel them anymore so that's a good sign. And I don't know what I would have done had they decided not to take the baby because she was sick. I suppose I would have cried myself a river because I certainly didn't want the baby! Beth is now 10yo and Kaela will be 13yo on Saturday. Life is just getting easy and I can't even imagine adding a baby to the mix!

Just wanted to stop in and say hello......... we are headin to WDW for a quick Christmas trip. Jen, let us know when the cruise fever gets unbearable....... LOL

Oh believe me, the cruise fever has been unbearable for quite some time! Now if only I would win the lottery to finance it! LOL

Ok........Heads Up you Cruise fanatics.............. Disney has released the 15 day repositioning cruise 8/18/08. Time to start saving ur pennies and plan to join us.........assuming I can save that many pennies as well. So dust of your emails and start planing. Let me know if you have any questions..........
