For those of you making extra labels...

If you want , you can print off extra mailing labels and use them for your luggage tags the last night of the cruise. It is a pain to have to fill out sooooo many of those little tags! We print off labels before we leave, so all I have to do is stick them on. They are great too, if you want to stay
connected with someone you met..use the labels instead of buisness cards.
Just make sure to put your room #too.

What excursions are everyone looking forward to?
We have scooters rented in Keywest,
Beach and island tour( through Disney) in Coz
and a Jetski stingray tour ( Fatfish) booked for Grand caymen.

I also booked Alone time for MOI !
Can't wait!
leaving in Two weeks! :banana:

We only have the train/trolley tour in Key West planned...other than that we have nothing else planned. :guilty:

Its hard for us since we have a 4 year old to do much of any excursion. And Yes I live in Miami so I have been to Key West many a times...but my cousin has not so we are doing the Train/trolley tour for her...plus my son will be just fine with that tour...others I am not so sure about...since he HATES sitting still long enough to do anything :rolleyes1

I honestly have NEVER been off the ship in Cozumel in all the times we have been there :confused3

well here is why, First trip we were diverted due to hurricane/tropical storm so we never made it to Cozumel, second time it was because of swine flu so we went to Nassau instead, third time I wasnt sure what to expect and was there with my father so I was nervous and didnt want to venture off the ship (maybe if hubby was with me but not by myself) and this time is probably going to be the same thing since it will only be me with my two young ens LOL (ok only one is mine but I am technically responsible for two kids on this trip) so I am scared to venture off where I have not been before. Hubby keeps telling me to get off and walk around but I am honestly scared due to not knowing my way around or what not....so I don't have anything planned for Cozumel.

Im just happy to be sailing on the MAGIC so Im not a HUGE fan of excursions anyways so I figured by doing the one in Key West it will be good enough for us :wizard:

And Im praying that I come up with some plan to feel comfortable enough to get off the ship in Cozumel...but Im scared and not a huge adventurer when by my onesie :rolleyes1

Grand Cayman we did the dolphin swim and turtle farm last time we went and my DS didnt like having to wear the life jacket :sad2:

(yes he is also horrible for the 15 minute Munster drills as well) so we didnt even think about doing it this time (not to mention its all sold out anyways)

Has anyone else recieved a refund from DCL? We got $30. back from them and while I like a refund as much as they next person, this isn"t typical Disney.

Besides that I am excited everynight as I pile up more and more things that we need to bring on our cruise.

Two more weeks and I am on Vacation!

Thats a great idea about printing the labels for the luggage. What exactly do we need to include on the labels? I want to print some, you are so right it is a HUGE pain to have to fill out all those tags...

My Mom said she got a $15 credit; I haven't checked my credit card statements yet... we asked our TA what it's for and haven't heard yet.

I hope to find a credit too! I really doubt that I'll get one. I feel I got a pretty decent price and was more then happy with it!!

I need to remember address labels too! I am going to start slowly gathering things and getting them in a pile. I have so many little odds and ends I want to bring.

The credit is a "change in port taxes". That is what Dreams Unlimited told us.
We booked 2 rooms:
3 in one ($45 credit)
2 in another ($30 credit)

Just enough to pay for the Tux I ordered for DH!

I put Room #
Name and mailing address.

Just enough info in case you need to identify your bags.

For those first time crusiers:
Your bags need to be in the hallway on Friday night ( Castaway Cay day) by 11:00 pm. Everything except your carry on. You pick up your bags after arriving in the terminal. Disney leaves little tags in your room that you need to fill out with Room # and name/adress. FOR EACH PIECE OF LUGGAGE.( 1 of 5, 2of 5 ect.)
The last thing I feel like doing in MY last night is packing and filling out forms.
The quicker the better, for us!

Hopefully we'll get $45 then!! I went to check my cc statement but it doesn't recognize my computer so I gotta wait for an email. I never check it from this one.

Question - while I am an avid WDW goer and DVC member, I am clueless about DCL. I have a good friend and her family going on this cruise and am trying to make sure they are ready

They have 1 DD and 2 DS and I have no idea what FE's are. I found out about the magnets and am going to make one for them, but am very curious about FEs and how they work, is it too late, etc? It is their children's 1st disney experience and I want it to be perfect for them. Any suggestions - help??? Thanks so much in advance for any recommendations!!! Also, is soda included or not or does it depend? Haven't found a clear answer

Thanks for the explanation! We were happy to recieve the extra back and are sure to find some use for it.

This is our third Disney Cruise and I'm still not interested in participating in the FE. It's a gift exchange that is arranged by people who have become friends online and are looking forward to meeting each other onboard. People make bags to hang off of the decorative fish clip outside the stateroom door. The fish clip is intended to hold mail, messages and small items from the cruise staff. Then, you get a list of everyone who wants to participate and buy them little gifts. The gifts can be anything from dollar store items to Oriental Trading prizes to elaborate homemade trinkets. You get a day assigned to you for you to deliver your gifts to everyone on the list. You get a bunch of gifts from everyone else in return. It's popular (on the DisBoards) and some people spend alot of time and preparation to make it a special part of their cruise experience; but it's not something that your friends would feel "left out of" if tey don't do it.

Pop is free at meals and at drink station on deck 9? . You pay for pop when order poolside or room service. An easy way to do the door decorating is to go to Home Depot, find the paint section and look for the disney paint samples. They have mickey heads on them and you can just grab some(free), cut them out and then put a piece of magnetic tape on the back. This is our first cruise and the kids have never been to WDW so I understand that you want it to be a great experience.

We picked up those Home Depot paint chips and it worked out pretty well!

Have we stopped taking additions for the FE now? I have one more shopping trip to make so I want to make sure I have everyone. Is the list the final list?
