Feb 5th - 12th 2012 Mexican Riviera on the Disney Wonder

I was looking for a Taco Bell, but alas the nearest one is 19 hours away by car. Do the locals have a popular chain of restaurants where they sell barely recognizable representations of American food?

I like the magic of the Disney Dreams show...it's full of fantasy and wonder.

(when you see what I did there, I apologize in advance...)
:rotfl2::lmao: it is indeed full of those. Dang really...no taco bell? Too bad. :rotfl:

No hubbub girl, the vanilla in Mexico is just WAAAAY better than the watered down crap you buy in the U.S. (can I say crap on Disney? :confused3 )
Has SO much more flavor! Just grab yourself a $2 bottle and try it out! You'll be hooked! pirate: (get it? hooked? )

Okay I will try it!!

Ohhh i missed the favorite character qotd... Mickey obviously. Favorite villian is maleficent. Favorite princess is belle.

Alright, as far as show go... we've seen all of them enough we skipped them last time. Disney dreams and golden mickeys are my favorite for sure. I like toy story, but mostly I like seeing the toys life size!!! They are awesome. Last time we were waiting for one of the shows we saw two families getting into a screaming match over saving seats, which is not allowed. They had to come and kick them out.

qotd saturday- not sure yet. would be nice to sample some local food though.

qotd-today. Yes Golden mickeys for me too - it looks awesome!

Ok we leave here on Friday  so wont be able to check email. could someone let me know if the spreadsheet changes by blackberry messenger please? If you can do this let me know and I will send you my oin.

thanks

Nikki

Question of the Day: Sunday, January 29

ONE MORE WEEK! WOOHOO!

What show are you looking forward to the most?

The Golden Mickeys! I've never been on a cruise, but watching youtube videos of Disney Wonder MR trips has me very excited for the Golden Mickeys. It looks like so much fun. And yes, I am so addicted to the idea of this vacation that I search youtube for videos.

I have no idea....since we have never been...would love some advice from the veterans (Or youtube viewers) on what are the can't miss shows and activities - especially for a 3 year old girl.:confused3

She will love them all, but I think she might like the Toy Story one, because all the toys come to life, and they are larger than life in it, and they will probably seem HUGE to her. It's really cool. But honestly, in true Disney fashion, they are all geared towards kids... I just think with how little she is, the toy story thing might seem pretty amazing!

Question of the Day: Saturday, January 28

Will you partake in the local flavor? Are you brave enough to eat what the locals eat?

Haven't decided if we're even getting off the ship yet, but a local place that we like in PV is called Pepe's, HUGE margaritas and yummy quac that they make right at the table! SO good ::yes::!

We love all the shows! We never miss them. That includes the entertainers, and the adult cabarets as well! Our all time favorite was Hercules the muse-ical. Too bad that is no longer on the Wonder.

Here's a little something to give you all a smile!!

Question of the Day: Monday, January 30

Have you planned a special outfit for embarkation day? Matching t-shirts? Themed outfits?

We'll be going nautical. I'm attempting to make Minnie Mouse's outfit for DD. If I fail, she already owns a sailor outfit. I have a navy and cream outfit very similar to the Duchess of Cambridge's from her LA visit. Hubby has a navy blazer he's rather fond of. I might pick up a pair of white pants, but most likely he will be in light khakis.

Morning all!

qotd - well kids will wear their matching mickey shirts probably and I have not decided what we are wearing yet probably something casual.

thanks guys for all the hard work with the FE stuff :thumbsup2

Great, now I feel like a slacker! :guilty: I suppose I should throw matching outfits on my list for this week? :confused3 All I know is that the forcast is 75 degrees for embarkation day, so we'll all be in shorts and flip flops!
