Another Canadian family cruising with you all! DH, DD (15) and myself will be onboard. We are from the Toronto area, staying in Anaheim for a few nights before the cruise to visit friends and have a Disneyland day.

This will be our fifth Disney cruise, but first on the Wonder. Early dining for us ...

Our only excursion planned is Whale watching in Cabo (Thursday afternoon?) and a Palo brunch with my husband. I've also got Afternoon Tea booked at Palo for Saturday afternoon, but DH is NOT looking forward to it. Maybe I'll meet someone onboard who'd be interested in joining me.

I can't believe there's only four weeks to go until we're IN California!!

What kind of heat are you packing? Of course I'm talking about shooting photos, not people!

We travel heavy. We're asian after all. (Have you ever seen the photo of a wedding ceremony where the guests are predominantly Asian and over 1/3 of them are sporting DSLRs and they're all standing up taking photos during the ceremony!)

1) iPhone 4s, cellphone photos are the new polaroids
2) Android Evo3d
3) Panasonic Lumix (our waterproof, drop proof that DD is allowed to play with)
4) Canon Powershot G10
5) Canon Rebel
6) The Flip

Before you think I'm completely bonkers. This is DD's first real vacation! I want to capture every single moment. Wish I had skills like TheAussieInLA

I'll use my iphone 4s for video and pictures on the cruise, as well as our Canon Rebel for other pictures. I used an older waterproof camera setup a few years ago in Cancun for underwater pictures, but it is already outdated. I have been looking online for a good underwater camera for under $150. Still looking...

I'll send you our vendor as soon as I get to a laptop. $120.99 includes tax and shipping. Ordered it this week, it arrived today. 12.1 megapixels, decent color and image quality. Very little delay for a waterproof. Was about to buy it on amazon, but found it cheaper elsewhere. Comes with a silicone case included. Image stabilization is shockingly good. Dd2 is able to take photos with it!

Whoops 14.1 megapixels. Biggest drawback is Panasonic still insists on using their proprietary cable. Argh, cause I don't have enough cables already. Not really peaked by it though.

I almost peed my pants reading your "We're Asian afterall" comment!!
I'll be packin my Iphone EVERYWHERE (even bought a cute little case for it today, can hold the phone, along with my key card and a lip gloss!! SO excited!)
I'll also be bringing out my Canon Rebel
We're terrible about a video camera, but we'll probably be packin that too!

I'm TOTALLY doing high tea at Palo, haven't booked it yet, maybe I should get on that? Lilow and her DD are joining me, maybe we can get a ladies group?

We can't do Palo because DD2 has never been dropped off with strangers before :-( I don't think a cruise ship is the place to test out those waters.

Well we'll be bringing too many things like always. We'll have our Canon Rebel T2i too... I love all the Canon peeps!!! And our waterproof Sony, but I never bring the video camera anymore, since we can record on the little camera. Also both our phones, sorry no iphone users in this family...DH is a manager at Verizon, and since they didn't sell iphones for so long, we got kinda used pretending like we hated them. LOL!!! So I've got my Thunderbolt, sorry, I think it might be slightly better than iphone...soley on this... I can download movies I already own to my phone versus having to buy them through itunes. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Now Linda, don't go asking how many suitcases of makeup I'll be bringing since I work for Sephora now, because I'm not sure I have enough time to type it all out.

Just DH and I on this one, so we probably wont be taking too many pictures. But we will be bringing a camera. Not really sure what it is other than a Canon. . little point and shoot kind of thing. Works great for us.
