Feb.4,2006. Who else is sailing?

Alright!! Now I got it. Of course, I have tons of free time to start making my magnets now that I've caught on at the last minute. :rotfl2: Oh, well, maybe I'll cheat and bring the ones from my fridge that are from WDW - at least y'all will know I'm the newbie :grouphug: See you there!

Solome - in all your spare time ( :teeth: ) run to Home Depot and get those Mickey paint chips in all different colors, and make them into magnets with magnet tape. It's a quick easy way to add some variety and color. Can you guess what my door will look like???? :earsboy:

Almost forgot: add curly ribbon to them for more fun too! BTW, I take NO credit for these ideas - totally stole them from other people!!! :thumbsup2

No, no, no. For those of us with perpetual to do lists, there is never a need to to do the to do.

I just got this from Dreams Unlimited

We received notice from Disney Cruise Line that the dining schedule has changed due to the Super Bowl broadcast on Sunday, February 5th. Here is the announcement from DCL:
DCL Holidays and Special Events: Super Bowl

Guests who are sailing on the Disney Magic Eastern Caribbean Cruise on February 4th and Disney Wonder 4-night cruise on February 5th are able to watch the game onboard.
Since the game is being broadcasted on Sunday, the Disney Magic is going to change the schedule of the 'formal night'. This prevents the two events from occurring on the same night.
For more information guests can check their Personal Navigator once onboard.
As you can see, they haven’t provided any information on what night they will have “formal night”, but logic would say it will be Monday night. I spoke with a Cast Member and she advised that the information will be noted on your Personal Navigator once you board the ship.

This is John, the “silent partner” of the Skylynx and Impala dynamic duo. While poor little Skylynx was working in Reston, Virginia this week to earn extra money to pay for the photos we will undoubtedly buy, I was on another mission. Dressed in dark clothing, I sneaked into Home Depot and liberated several light green Mickey Mouse paint chips. This was part of my Honey Do list for the time she was away. My job for tonight is to make the door signs. I did manage to download several Disney type fonts for word. So watch out!!! (Our other claim to fame is we also won the door decorating contest at Great Wolf Lodge - Wisconsin Dells - earlier this year – with Star Wars snow men.)

I am looking forward to meeting all you chaps and lasses, and spending the 7 days doing nothing constructive.

cheers

We can't wait to meet you, John!

(P.S. Are you British, or just a very proper Chicagoan? :) )

Yea! We have just six days until we leave. And have I mentioned that I am soooooooooo looking forward to the Islands. I looked up the weather for our stops today and it was in the 80's. That is so much better than a high of 0. Really is that like an oxymoron to have a high of 0 degrees, or a high of -5 like is forecasted. Ready for the tropics. :woohoo: :bounce: :cool1:

Denise,

How are you and your family doing? I'm sure that the past few weeks have been terribly difficult for you and John, and I hope that this cruise will be a great escape for you. :goodvibes

Leaving on Wednesday afternoon...I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!

It would be so great to meet all of you in person -- I am soooooooo looking forward to it!

Get me outta here!! Up here in chiily Massachusetts they are forecasting
a potential large snowstorm for Tuesday. Just what we need to increase the
the stress level!! We are scheduled to leave out of Providence Friday morning. I will get to the Radisson Friday night come H*ll or highwater(or snow). The kiddies are getting really excited. I have to remind my son when he goes to school that he is not on vacation yet! What's the forecast for you guys in DC and Chicagoland??

Lisa - we are kinda cold this morning (about 30) but will warm up to almost 60 later today. It's supposed to be colder the next few days, with a chance of flurries on Tuesday - but that might just be for the more western/mountainous areas of the "TV viewing area." So we should be okay for our flight on Thursday at noon (not soon enough!!!) :woohoo: We'll probably see you at breakfast at the Radisson on Saturday morning. We may already have our matching t-shirts on!! :goodvibes (I can't believe I'm this excited about matching t-shirts - never thought that day would come!)

John - can't wait to see your creativity! We laminated our signs last night and magnetized them. I'm thinking we need more paint chips from Home Depot, but not sure if I have time to go back there... :hourglass

BTW, Denise, sent you a PM last night.

My DS's ski school was cancelled today due to TOO MUCH snow -- they're doing avalanche control up in the mountains...There goes my free day to finish packing.

Looks like we'll also be on during the Opening Ceremonies. Do you think they'll show that on the Jumbotron? Anyone else out there get nostalgic and have to watch them even though they are awfully long? party:

I'll probably watch some - if only to be spiteful since we'll be wearing shorts and all the athletes will be all bundled up!!! :cool1: I do enjoy the sports (mostly ice skating) more than the opening ceremonies.

Brrrrrrr, pretty cold here too.

Its down to 63 degrees right now.

Might have to turn the heat on!

hAHAHAHA -- we did have to run the heat on Thursday night. It was 71 in the house and way too cold for me!

Marcy (at work, for the 21st day in a row, and who have nothing to wear but work suits on the cruise)

Marcy - I'm sure you can buy whatever you need on the boat!! Or better yet, keel over at work tomorrow and file a workers comp claim for exhaustion and mental distress. I'm sure you can find a lawyer to back you up... :teeth:
