Greetings everyone!
I figured it was about time I checked in and began meeting everyone. I will be celebrating the big 4-0 on Feb. 26, so we are making it a "Happy Birthday to Me" celebration. I will be joined by my daughter, my mom, dad, sister, bro-in-law, bro-in-law's parents, mom's friend, sister's friend and her DD and a few others who are still on the fence.
DD and I are FOR SURE planning on doing the FE's and we will probably coerce a few others in our crew to do it with us. For any of you who are considering it, I HIGHLY recommend itThere is nothing better for the kiddos (no matter how old) than coming back to the room and discovering the new surprises left behind, nor is anything more fun than sneaking through the ship at midnight delivering your own (not that YOU have to do that, be we really enjoyed it).

We just booked tonight and I am sooooo excited! We will have two adjoining inside cabins for the six of us: husband, myself, 17 Son, 8 daughter, 8 daughter, and 6 daughter.

We'd be game for the FE. I need to go to ETSY and buy a door hanger I guess. Also, I saw some really cute mouse ear magnets to put on the door.

Did I mention I am excited?! It has been 10 years since our last Disney Cruise on the Magic. We are way overdue!

We used the 25% off code e-mailed to us on Wednesday. Do you think that is a better deal than KSF? I'll have to do the Math but you have to pay for two adults and then the kids are free so we would have only received two kids free since we got two rooms.

I expect with the two discounts being offered by Disney right now, this cruise will fill up.

You should crunch the numbers to figure out which is the best deal . The first two in a room are full price, but then the kids after that would be free. And it's only for categories 10C through the 4s. Either way for good deals!

I can't believe it's only five more months. We had so much fun on this sailing last year, it was the best family vacation ever

Oops, I hit submit reply before I was ready.

The boat last year was KSF and it was full, but we never felt overwhelmed and our service was impeccable. The pool was a madhouse on the warmer sea days, but I suspect that is always the case on a boat. We always found great seats for the shows and never had a problem getting pictures with the characters (except when the princesses were all out).

We booked this sailing while on board this last time. We had the 10% discount and the $200 OBC for our SPH room. With the KSF, we're saving about $715 ($915 before taking into account the $200 OBC we're losing).

We just switched our Eastern Caribbean on the Magic to this sailing, with the kids free is it $1400 cheaper!!!

We did 2/27 KSF last year and it was packed with kids but still incredible.

Would love to do FE exchange if anyone is organizing that.

We specifically looked for the cheapest 7-night cruise and when we rebooked we also asked for the cheapest one. Ty said the same week would again be cheapest, so we booked it. Having the KSF just makes it that much better . We also booked our cruise this past Feb before they had the KSF promo. We'd love it if they kept doing it, but I worry that since they keep needing to offer KSF to fill the ship that it might mean no more MR trips. I'm hopeful they'll continue there, or at least have other affordable options as we'd like to continue on with DCL once a year, but only if the prices are good.

Wondering if anyone on the 2/26th 2012 MR sailing would like to get together or site together for meals? Would be fun, as we begin to chat and get excited together as our sailing approaches. Not even sure if we could even make sure a request to DCL (to dine together), but a game of shuffle board or a Drink O the Day in Diversions one afternoon?

Anyway, I've been doing a bunch of reading so I thought I'd ping my our sailing group so drum up a wee bit of excitment perhaps

Man, Feb 26th can't come soon enough.

We are DEFIANTLY getting excited on our end. Still haven't told the kiddos yet. (Xmas Present, we think)

We will exchange more info as time goes on. Heck, if we shared room #'s, we could just call on a wave phone, and see when folks have a few min for a drink!

We'll be in 2nd dinner because we LOVE the dine and play fore the kids. (The kids love it too. lol)

Yeah, first thing we considered when we got KSF was a cat upgrade, but we decided to save the money to spend while on board and for the tips etc. I'm sure we'll need it

Meeting up on board would be great fun. I plan on booking a MR cruise for 2012 while on board too. We hope to be able to make this an annual thing, if the finances allow.

We can share room numbers or some way to all meet up, that sound like a great idea.

Please tell me more about the main vs late dining. I have read a lot that family with young kids are better off at main dinning, so that is where we are currently. My kids are 6 and 3. Are we better off at late dining do you think?

This is brilliant (as we say in Ireland) that we all got this great savings we were perhaps hoping for but not expecting. I just home DCL keeps the MR sailing. This will be our first cruise, and I'm sure there is nowhere to go but down if not crusing on DCL.

I will read a little more about what FE is all about, and we may join in on the fun

It was a bit chilly departure day and last at sea day but the weather in Cabo & Puerto Vallarta was awesome....at sea days got a bit chilly but pools are heated to 80 something...make sure to bring warm pool robes for kids because it is pretty cold when you get out. I bought ones for my kids that were a few sizes too big so they covered them really well.

I am trying to talk my husband into this cruise for spring break. We are going on the Wonder MR in Nov. so I am not sure if we will do it again, but the heart wants what the heart wants!

We will be on this cruise as well! We book this weekend and are thrilled. I will be with my DH, DS (16) and DD (9). They are thrilled as well. They had the option of going to Disney World, Disneyland, or Universal for a week and they chose the cruise. We were on the Wonder for the same trip last February and it was amazing! My DD can't stop thinking about it and wants to leave right now! I personally can't stop thinking about it either and am so excited because we were not expecting to cruise again until we sail the Fantasy in October 2012.

I would love to know more about what the FE is. Now I just have to figure out how to post a new count down ticker!!!
