So I couldn't get a fp for FEA until late & I don't plan to be in Epcot at night. I have an 8:10 breakfast at Akershus. Anyone with experience doing the early breakfast & FEA immediately afterward? Was stand by horrendous by the time you got there? I'll be there the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

We were there on 9/18. Had a PPO Akershus at 8:20. I think they called us at 8:10. We were done by 8:45 and walked right on to FEA. As we were getting off, the line was already up to 30 min. So, it's definitely doable if you are done by 8:45 or so!

My suggestion is when you get seated ask for your bill right away -- i find that's the longest wait of all because they seem to seat in groups.

Awesome! Thanks for the replies and yes I'll definitely ask for the bill right away!

Also if you are eating in 30 minutes that means there is a good chance you won't be seeing all if any of the characters. Just something to remember since the reservation is priced as a Character buffet.

I've been in a rush before there too and if you tell them you're in a rush, sometimes if the party requesting isnt that big and there's room in the area where the last 'group' has already been seated, they'll seat you closer to where that last group is so chances of seeing the all princesses is much higher.

I imagine since it is becoming FEA early entry more and more people are in a rush so it'll become much harder to request them in a short time.

Very true. Last time we were in Disney Maelstrom was still there.

We had an 8:10am reservation on 9/23. We got to Epcot early so we were the 4th family in line. As we'd done an PPO in July, we didn't stop to take pictures, so we were the first family to arrive at Akershus. We had to skip a princess as we were the next table but the parade was starting and we weren't doing that. So we left at 8:50 after having plenty of time for breakfast, and there were people running into FEA. I guess they'd opened the park extra early that day! We were able to hop right onto the ride though.

We had 8:05 ADR on 9/19. We didn't rush through eating, saw all princesses and took pictures and sat through the parade. I didn't look at the time when we left (around 9 am, + or - a couple minutes), but we were able to use the restroom on the way out, get in line for FEA, ride and were off by 9:15. We did pay early in the meal, as I saw suggested on here.
