FD and Split Reservations

Free Dining starts on November 9 this year. I wanted to come down on the 8th. I beleive that if i do it as two reservations, one on the 8th for room only and the one on the 9th as a package I can get the FD for most of the trip.

My question is this. When I check in on the 8th, will they let me keep the same room or do I have to go down in the morning on the 9th and check out and then check in all over again that afternoon?

Have them link your reservations when you book, and when you arrive, let them know of your plans at checkin. They will do their best to keep you in the same room. I suggest packing a small suitcase of things you will need for just the first night. Then if you end up having to switch rooms, you won't have to repack much. For free food, I would take the risk.

They won't guarantee it, but if you request it they will try to keep you in the same room. and no matter what happens, you will have to go down to the desk to check in again, as you will need to get your package key cards with your dining credits.

I have FD starting on 11/23, we are arriving on 11/22 (Thanksgiving Day) and have DR at Cinderella's Royal Table for Dinner, has anyone had any luck of getting thier Park Tickets a day early. All I want is one day on paper ticket mailed or available for Will Call. They will let you buy more days than you have days reserved for use after, but not before. I was told by CM that the tickets would be available on 11/23 at 7:00AM in my Keys to the World. Anyone know why the policy is to only allow the tickets starting the day of Check In. I am paying for the tickets already not sure why I would need to buy a one day ticket for 11/22.
