Does the Fantasy still have cereal in individual boxes?

Well we were on the Dream in Nov and there is no carton milk , it’s in a metal dispenser beside hotel like looking cereal dispensers.

If you want a different type of milk you have to ask and they will get it for you in a glass.

If you want to eat the cereal at a different time, you can always go up to deck 9 and get it whole milk from the drink dispenser.

My wife always has a bowl of cereal before bed, so what we do is grab a bowl, spoon and box of cereal each morning from the buffet. Then when she is ready to have the cereal at night, I go up to deck 9 (Magic or Wonder) and get a cup of whole milk for her to use.

We found that for her this was the best way for her to keep her routine of eating cereal each night before bed while on the cruise and worked better than trying to get a small carton of milk and keep in the refrigerator in the room.

At curiosity sake do you know which type of milk is in the dispenser in regards to whole/2%/skim?

That's the PR-friendly line that companies give for these types of changes. However, the changes are almost always completely about reducing costs...not waste.

This 100%. When I worked for the mouse they were pushing reusable shopping bags hard to "reduce waste". Meanwhile all of the Disney pins I stocked all came in soft plastic baggies. So to stock one design of pin I was tossing out 5-10 non-recyclable plastic baggies and all stores I stocked would stock 10-40 designs minimum. That is a lot of plastic baggies while trying to convince guests to buy reusable shopping bags

I will say that was pre-pandemic though, so for all I know they moved pin inventory and stocking to a tissue paper packing system

We were so bummed last month when we ordered cereal from room service on the Magic and it came in a cereal bowl covered in plastic wrap. It was stale.

We were on the December 26-31 sailing, and no- there were like 3 varieties of cereal in big bowls/containers. Milk is no longer in individual cartons either, nor is yogurt.

Again these are things to email DCL about and let them know you are unhappy about. Posts here, while great to share information, will not make changes. Tell DCL if you are unhappy with the direction they are heading.

100%. The green stuff is a cover for more money for exec bonus. If it were real, they wouldn’t sell all the plastic stuff they do in their stores lol.

Not only do they not have cereal boxes but they don’t even have cereals they used to have. Raisin Bran is still on the breakfast ordering form for room service but they don’t have it. Like at all. But you won’t know that until they send you a cup full of loose corn flakes and you call them to tell them you ordered raisin bran and they tell you they don’t have any. Talk about a mess.

If I've said it once I've said it a million times, but their partnership with Kellogs is so annoying. I get Disney probably does it so they can use the name brand on their rice krispy treats, but my eternal wish is they'd either change their breakfast cereal partner or not have a breakfast cereal partner and stock multiple brands.
