I just hate sticky-feeling sunscreen. (It even feels worse when it's really hot outside.) I also hate wasting $5 to $8 a bottle only to find out that I don't like something.

What's your favorite non-sticky sunblock?

I like Water Babies sunblock. It is in a pink bottle, tho, I don't remember the manufacturer. I have never found it to be sticky.

Try that new Coppertone continuous spray. It is an aerosol, so it sprays on in a mist and it dries without being sticky or greasy. I got ours at Target.

Yes! This is the best because it is not greasy (we use the Sport version) and it is really fast! THE BEST!

I looked at Consumer Reports because I want the best protection for my family, and Banana boat spf 30 was it. It is Not greasy or sticky at all, once it soaks in after the 15 minutes you are supposed to wait for it to be most effective, you can not even tell you have anything on your skin - I even use it on our faces. Also they say spray on is not good because it does not give reliable coverage, because you don't know exactly where it is going. Hope this helps!

We are really fair, I mean REALLY fair...I have had skin cancer and have so many moles removed a year, I have lost count! I have been waiting for a new Consumer Reports report...The only one I can find in in 2001. Has there been a more recent report? I have the 2001 version...

My kids attend an all day sailing school in Annapolis MD. The only time they are fully protected is when they use the Coppertone Sport continuous spray. We don't use it on their faces. They carry face sticks to reapply as the day goes on. We used to use the Coppertone Sport lotion (also listed as "excellent" by Consumer Reports) but found the continuous spray to be more convenient.

While in WDW this August, I would spray the kids as they were standing in line or just as we got to the parks (early of course!) We did this in MK, AK and in Epcot! We really found this new spray to be a godsend. The Consumer Reports article we have talked about the Banana Boat pump-type spray. The continuous spray is an aerosol-type product.

We love it! The best part is that it is not greasy at all. It takes about a minuter (or less) to dry. Then you don't feel like you are wearing anything which is really lovely in that humid Florida weather...

I ahve to also agree with the Coppertone continuous spray. We are very fair and did 4 days, all day, at a waterpark and never even turned pink.

I do, however, like the Neutrogena for faces..it is very light and not at all sticky feeling...it actually feels good on your face.

We used Avon Sport which is a spray and it was not sticky at all and worked for us. We didn't use it on our faces though. :flower:

I love Neutrogena, Ultra Sheer,dry-touch sunblock. goes on great, no greasy feel, more like there lotion. costs a little more but to me it is well worth it.

Coppertone Sport Pump in a blue bottle. Goes on quick, not greasy at all. Even DD4 will let me put it on without a fight and that's saying a lot. Not for the face though, it will sting. I like the Babysticks in the pink chapstick like tube for the face.

We have a pool and think the Coppertone Continuous Spray is the best invention ever. I line up the neighbor kids and spray 'em all. I found a trick for faces. I have the kid stand in front of me, pull their hair off their face with one hand, hold their breath and raise the other hand to signal when they are ready for me to spray their face. As soon as I'm done I give them a gentle shove backwards and they step back to fresh air and take a breath. It works great. My kids HATE putting lotion-style sunscreen on. Nothing but fussing. This stuff solves all my problems and it truly does seem to keep them from burning.

I like Ocean Potion Lotion Sport sph 30. It is hard to find but normally Wal-Mart has it. We bought a bottle a few weeks ago in Cocoa, FL for our cruise. Here in NC they had sold out. Not greasy at all and goes on easily!

As far as absolute non-sticky, I use Clinique CityBlock on my face and neck. I just cannot stand the heavy, greasy feeling of regular sunscreen on my face! It costs more, but to me it is priceless.

On the rest on me, I use Coppertone Sport.

This is the exact combo I use on my kids (and me too!). We have a pool and the continuous spray is awesome. Even my china doll, porcelain-skinned, fair, blonde DD NEVER burned! The only time my older DD got a little too much sun was when DH let her apply the spray herself and she missed a few spots.

I already have my contiuous spray ready to go for our upcoming trip.

Bullfrog. It is SPF36, I believe. It goes on quick and easy and it is not a cream, so you don't have to work to blend it on to your skin. My husband is 100% Swedish blonde and does not get burned at all, even when out all day, when her remembers to use it!

As someone who goes through 4-5 bottles of sunblock each summer (I'm a marine biologist who works outdoors! :flower: ), the best sunblock I've found that is neither greasy nor steaky is Neutrogena Ultra Sheer SPF 45. It's got a wonderful citrus smell to it, and is not greasy at all.

I second the nomination for Ocean Potion. They have a wonderful stick for faces that's 60 SPF! The stick has a pad on the end and you dab the liquid sunscreen wherever you want it to go. Non-sticky and didn't run when we sweat. We, too, are so fair that we practically glow in the dark. I used it all summer and didn't even get pink.

Another vote for the continuous spray coppertone. I love that it doesn't take me 20 minutes to get good coverage on everyone. My super-fair 21 month old hasn't burned a bit all summer. Love that stuff.

Another vote for the Ultra Sheer Dry Touch. Perfect for me. So many things make my face break out. Not this. I went in June and never reapplied it. Not even after rain.

We like the Coppertone Sport continuous spray too but our last bottle seemed to sting until you wiped it with your hands. Anyone else have this problem?

However, my ultimate fav, expecially for the face, is Mary Kays Sunscreen. Never feels greasy, and dosen't make you sweat (dosen't clog the pours). Even when we use spray on the body, we use Mk on the face.
