As I sit here watching The season of Disney on travel channel.. I remember all the past trips to WDW and all the memories I have and will never forget.....so lets all share our favorite memories if it was when you were a kid or just yesterday.... lets hear it....

I will start my favorite memory when I was younger was just the fact of getting in the car at 4am in order to go to WDW and seeing the "Mickey Ears" and knowing I was in WDW..... I love it and can't wait to have my own children so that I can see their faces when I take them to WDW for the first time.....

The first time I took my daughter. We walked through the gates and there to our right (with no one anywhere near) is Mickey...my two and a half year old looks over and says "Mommy! Mickey was waiting for me!" with the greatest joy in her eyes. I turned to my husband and said "worth every penny".

After greeting Mickey, Minnie and Pluto, we turn the corner to where she could see the castle....her whole body was vibrating with joy....I'll never forget my daughter's first trip to Disney...and here's the great thing...even though she was so young, she still remembers it too.

When I took my dd for her 5th birthday and on the boatride back to the car she started crying when I told her we were leaving the next day and she asked her daddy "why can't you just work here?"

That is absolutely adorable....you are right it is worth every penny...

AWWWWW!!!

My favorite Disney momory is probably on my dad's last b-day (he died 2 years ago). We were on main Street and I asked the dapper Dans to sing Happy Birthday to him and they did! They put one of their hats on him and had him sing along. He was always musical and loved harmonizing.

I have a photo. I'd love to post it. If I can figure it out, I will.

I have a couple.

First trip w/ my girls- Mady being so excited to meet Minnie, and me taking her to the evening hours at MK (I forget what they were called). It was just me and her, and very special. Sophie being afraid of the characters, but by day 3 handing one of the princesses her magna-doodle for an autograph.

My first trip to MK--with my dad. I was maybe 8 or 9. We literally were only there half a day or so. My dad wasn't a great family vacation kind of guy. But I clearly remember watching the parade, while walking towards the exit, and eating chicken at a restaurant (I'm thinking it was Columbia Harbour house--was that open from the beginning?) I also remember standing in line for 20 thousand leagues-although I don't remember the ride:confused3

Upload the pix to an online photo service like Photobucket then copy and paste the "IMG" image here. :) I would love to see the pix!

Probably my most favorite memory was when my oldest DD Jessie was about 6 we went to the Studios on our last day just so that she could get her photo made with her FAVORITE character - Jessie the Cowgirl. My DD even had her Jessie tennis shoes on just to show the REAL Jessie. We asked at Guest Relations and got the times for the meet and greet but when we got to the location Jessie wasn't there.

I asked an Entertainment CM and they said that Jessie was having wardrobe problems and wouldn't be out that day at all. DD heard this and started sobbing and said that she wore those shoes JUST to see Jessie. The CM told us that he would take DD's autograph book back and get a special autograph just for us. We waited for what seemed like forever and then who comes walking out in full costume but JESSIE!

I started crying like a baby because it was such a magical moment. The CM brought JESSIE out just to see DD! The pix I have of my DD with Jessie is priceless - the grin on DD's face was truly a mile wide. I don't have a digital copy or a scanner or I would post it.

20 thousand leagues was my dad's favorite ride and I remember riding it and being scared to death because I don't like being under water and being trapped in a "sub"... but it is still a great memory

Yes it is. I was a CM for about 7 years and saw many magical moments but never imagined that one would happen to us as guests many years later. :) I think it made me appreciate it even that much more.

Riding Soarin' for the first time (11/5/05). My dad and I waited over two hours to ride and I will never forget the feeling that washed over me the minute the ride vehicles were lifted up and over into that projection screen dome. The music filled my soul and I honestly broke down crying when I got off. I never wanted the feeling I got on that ride to end. I felt at peace and so happy. Even many many rides on Soarin' later, I still cry.

My first trip ever to the World...September 2005. I was 39 years old and the most magical memory is me and my DH saying our vows at Sea Breeze Point at the Boardwalk. :bride: :groom: I think that will always be my favorite memory at WDW.:lovestruc

My favorite memory is our first trip it was DH and I two of our kids, my cousin her DH 2dss and dd. we went to MK first from PORS, we were on the the bus not crowded at all DD6 and DCgirl6 were in the seat together chatting away. Well there it was the tip of the castle came into view then more came into view both girls stop talking, and are in complete aww. "Look, its soo beautiful!" they both said. the bus was completly silent. Two ladies across the aisle smiled and nodded knowing that this was for these little girls their first trip. It was perfect.

Two those girls WDW was MK when we were at AK,MGM,EPCOT that was not WDW. THey kept asking when ever we were at another park when can we go back to WDW. WE kept telling the you are in WDW.

Now Im getting ready planning our youngests DS4 trip Dec.09. I cant wait to see his eyes.

Are you my mother??? My mom absolutely loves this ride. She is almost giddy about riding it.:cutie:

My favorite memory is when I arranged a scavenger hunt at MK through Gifts of a Lifetime to welcome our oldest son's fiance to the family. The whole experience was amazing but I think the very beginning when she realized that she was having a personal adventure and watching her excitement is the fondest memory.

Let's see if this will work for me:
