I have a related question. Are we able to walk up and get ice cream now? I haven't been to Disney since mobile ordering. Do we have to mobile order ice cream like everything else?
Jeni’s has most likely ruined you (and me!) for all other ice cream. I can’t say any of the ice cream I’ve had at WDW has hit the spot for a high quality treat. The gelato at L’artisan can be icy but their croque glacé is still worth a try! I typically stick with a classic Mickey bar since I can’t get it at home.
Ample Hills in the original Brooklyn location is still some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had. That’s why I never bothered to get it at WDW...even the other NYC locations aren’t quite as good (though they are still good).
L’Artisan is a tradition though I only ever get the sandwich at night, and even then you have to eat it FAST. But that sweet spot before it really starts melting? OMG.
Ghirardelli and Les Artisans for sure! I agree with the other posters you can't go wrong with either or both... After all it's vacation but save room for the Dole whip
Beaches & Cream is just Edy's ice cream which is really nothing special. But the atmosphere and the unique sundaes make up for the lackluster ice cream.
I love Les Artisans.
I've never tried Jeni's ice cream. Now I'm gonna have to.
I love ice cream although I'm not a snob and as far as I'm concerned any ice cream is good ice cream. I love Les Artisans in France at Epcot, as a matter of fact it's probably the only must do for me every time I'm at WDW. Also enjoy the the ice cream shop at the Dolphin that was mentioned. Not sure if it's open right now though.

And they ship anywhere! I send it to family all over the country and they're all obsessed. I live in the land of Jeni's (Ohio) and can pop in for scoops any time which is trouble. Also a pint is $9.99 here

We live in Ohio, too, but in a small town where the supply is hit-and-miss. Sometimes, my husband and I will drive to Columbus just to get Jeni's in a waffle cone.
