I admit it. I'm a food network geek. I enjoy tips and recipes from these shows.

My favorites are Michael Chiarello (I think I'd love to live his life) and Bobby Flay.

How about you?

Rachael Ray all the way! Yes she can be annoying, but she really got me out of my "shell" when it comes to cooking :)

Rachel Ray....she has the BEST job in the entire world. $40 a Day - paid to travel the world!

My 7 year old son is a Food Network junkie as well. He loves that channel. He is a Rachael Ray fan first, then Emeril. When he helps me cook he says "Bam!" everything he adds anything and wears a kitchen towel over his shoulder. So funny.

I like both of them, as well as Paula Deen and Bobby Flay and Alton is always educational and enteraining.

We are also Iron Chef fans as well.

Paula Deen and Alton Brown

I have met Paula a couple of times and she is very sweet and down to earth.

Love, love Bobby Flay. I secretly have a crush on him, don't tell.

I also like Gaida and Paula Deen.

Rachael Ray (love, love, love 30-Minute Meals) and Paula Deen. The chef and show I like the least, Semi-Homemade with Sandra Lee.

Slightly OT, but has anyone been following the Next Food Network Star, and if so, who did you vote for?

Giada DeLaurentiis. I LOVE Everyday Italian. It is, by far, my favorite cooking show. I like Ming Tsai and Paula Deen also. Emeril is very entertaining but I'm not always crazy about what he cooks. For pure food choice, I'd pick Wolfgang Puck.

Rachael Ray

Cat Cora

and Bobby Flay is quite the cutie! He could cook for me any day of the week!

I became a Food Network fan when recovering from foot surgery in December. I like Michael, Bobby, Emeril, Paula, Giada and Sandra but my favorite is Rachael. I missed her on Regis and Kelly this morning but I heard it was a pretty funny segment.

Paula Deen and Rachael Ray. Love them. Have all of their cookbooks (and I have actually been known to use them!!).

I'm going to be the voice of dissent on Bobby Flay, though- he really annoyed me with that whole Iron Chef thing a while back and I haven't liked him since.

alton brown, he's one of the only ones i watch, and barefoot contessa.

i can't stand bobby flay ever since he made that iron chef america show (i liked the original one much better). he also seems really snotty.

my boyfriend is obsessed with giada (the only woman i'd ever let him leave me for :lmao: )

I really enjoy watching Everyday Italian with Giada DeLaurentiis. She makes everything look easy and so good! I haven't seen her make anything yet that I wouldn't eat.

I like both of the finalists on the Next Food Network Star, but my vote goes to Reggie because of his charm and calmer demeanor. Guy is just a little too :yay: for me. Should be interesting to see who wins.

I love Alton Brown! I've learned so much from him and I really enjoy his quirky and clever sense of humor.

I can't handle Rachel Ray. She's just waaaay too satisfied with herself. Ick!

I did the opposite - I like the more up-tempo so I voted for Guy. I really like Reggie, too, though. They should both get a show!

I'm a huge Alton Brown fan - I understand cooking now because of him! And I like Giada and Paula Deen. Not a big Rachel fan. After watching the Food Network Star, I think I want to check out Dave Lieberman's show.

I learned to cook from the old PBS daytime cooking shows. Jeff Smith (till the scandal), Nathalie DuPree ( I wanted to name DD Nathalie but DH said no), Marcia Adams and Justin Wilson. Now I like to watch Paula Deen.
