Fastpass+ without a ticket

I have 2 separate reservations. First one is a 2 day room only. Next one is 5 day package with 7 day park hopper tickets. Is there anyway to make Fastpass selections for the 2 days on the room only reservation. It keeps telling me I must have a valid admission. I had planned on going to the parks on my park hoppers those days even though those tickets are attached to a package that does not start until 2 days later. Can I still so that? We have picked up tickets early before, but that was before Fastpass +. Thanks!

From what I've read, you must have some sort of ticket or AP tied to your room reservation in order to make FP+ reservations in advance of your trip. If you still can pick up tickets a day or two early, you'll be able to use the kiosks on the days that you have a room only reservation.
