We waited well over 5 minutes using FP+ for a number of attractions, across multiple trips in the past year. Many times, we've heard guests say, "THIS is the FASTPASS line?"
Our Space Mountain wait times WITH FP+ have been the worst. I recorded: over an hour, 55min, and 37 min waits.
At BTMRR- we waited 45-50min, but that was a day when the ride had been down before our FP started. other BTMRR waits have been closer to the 15 min mark.
The Safari is almost always a minimum 20min wait with FP, especially if you include the post merge wait.
At TT, it matter a good deal how you define the wait. The prep room and post prep room add quite a bit of time to the process.
Jungle Cruise also comes to mind. We waited over 20 min one day with FP+. Guests were not happy, because it was rather hot.
Over multiple visits we waited 15 min with FP+ at a number of rides: 7D, TT, EE, Splash, Anna/Elsa. I was also surprised to have a 10-15 minute wait at Spaceship Earth.
We've not ridden Soarin' since the advent to FP+, but we timed many FP- visits. Ten years of visits with extended family meant lots of child swap at Soarin'. We never waited less than 45minutes, usually over an hour- though that was to complete the ride. Our standard practice was to ride LWtL AND eat lunch while waiting. If we couldn't do that, we went on LWtL twice, then spent quality time in the plant gift shop, then waited on the benches some more. With tiered FP+, there's no contest between TT vs. Soarin'.
