Fastpass line being managed differently?

Somewhat apparent? LOL He is dripping with disdain over the people that post here.
I have not seen it, but I take you at your word.

I'm just wondering, what would be the rationale for behaving that way? Surely we fit squarely within his target audience ....

Is he using the photo of the pp to sell them? As I said, not a lawyer...

Whether a profit is involved or not you have the right to request that a photo of you and/or your family taken without permission be removed from a commercial website. You are also entitled to the expectation that your request will be honored.

Well, not that it matters, but I am a lawyer. Not that kind of lawyer, but .....

I would argue that yes, his blog is for sure being used to sell his book. I *think* the book grew out of his blog. Any activity on the blog is bolstering his credibility as an expert and thus, has the potential to induce people to buy. I would make a lot of other "lawyerly" type arguments too. ;)

Regardless, I don't think I would take the case, because I don't know what the damages are. And you need damages to win a civil case.

I think Austintatious' point is interesting though, in light of the fact that PP demanded that a photo be taken down that was pulled from a public blog. I think Austintatious is pointing to it as a double-standard.

Legalities aside, I see his point.

Now, let's get back to the OP. :)

Back on topic...I think it's luck of the draw, and I think maybe the OP had some bad luck. Even with a line backed up nearly to the entry to Tom Sawyer's Island at Splash, we've never waited more than 5 minutes in the FP line. And in my view, the FP line/your FP wait ends when you get to the merge point, not when you actually board the ride.

I see his point as well. If I objected to my photo on his site, I'd ask him to remove it and see what he says. Then again, he may be well within his right to use it.

I am confused on using a FP+ for the Cups? Seems like a huge waste of a FP+ IMHO. I usually can find some time of the day to ride with little or no wait in SB.
Yes but when you can't get FP for anything you really want to do you just take what's available and feel good because you got something.

Yeah - I think that's the theory, but it wouldn't make ME feel good. Not everyone knows better though.

That's actually one of the reasons I have a bad taste in my mouth about the current system. I don't think you make up for lackluster attractions by making them FP eligible and thus making people perceive there's more value in them. I have trouble respecting that kind of business strategy.

I agree with the bolded, which is why I posted earlier asking how people were timing their waits. :)

While not really a "nightmare" situation for me, I have often wondered what would happen if I arrived at that line with 5 minutes remaining in my window. By the time I survive the idiot parade and get to the tap point, it has been 10 minutes and I am now outside my window. What happens now? Has anyone run into this one?

A little late to the party, but considering that your FP must be used within a certain time period, you might not have the luxury of waiting 15 minutes for the FP+ line to get shorter.

The FP time window is at the "Greeter" position not the "Merge" so it doesn't matter how long it takes to "get to" the Merge only when the initial checkin at the Greeter.

He means what happens if your window is closed by the time you get to the greeter, due to the backup at the initial readers.

I preferred pre-fp era because the line was always moving. I hate standing in line, I don't mind walking in line. As long as I'm moving I'm happy.

Keeping SB moving is something I like to see.
