We are (most likely) heading back to WDW for the first time since 2010. I understand the concept of the updated FastPass system but have a question. If for example we are going to Epcot and wanted to book Mission Space, Test Track and Soarin, how much time between those attactions should I build in?

The return times are a 1 hour window so they must be at least 1 hour apart, so you always have an hour (minus attraction time) to get to the next one, even if you enter at the very end of your window. Soarin' is the only one that loads kinda slow and takes a bit of time even with FP.

You won't be able to book those 3 together because they are all Tier 1.

After you use a FP in the park, you can try to Modify the time for the next FP to move it up so that you don't have to wait around.

I was curious and checked my past fast pass history and have booked fast passes an hour apart 11:50-12:50, 12:50-1:50, 1:50-2:50 but it was more common to have them an hour and five minutes apart.

But the way it works at epcot with tiers, you won't be able to book all three rides with FP+

Personally, i like to book them for about 10:30-11:30, 11:30-12:30 (lunch break) then 1:15-2:15ish. That way, i tour around from open through about 11:15; go to FP A near then end of its window; go directly to FP B whose window has recently opened; break allows for a short or longlunch; straightto FP C. I want to minimize clock-watching and standing around for an awkward period waiting for a FP time.

I usually book 2 FP in the morning and one after lunch. I keep the 2 in the morning back to back time wise and then I give myself 11/2 to 2 hours for lunch if I am doing a TS. Booking them earlier in the day allows adding another later in the day if you want. Have fun!

I would give your self 20 minutes for the line ( most of the time it is 10 minutes but if a ride goes down then there could be a long FP line) then time to ride the ride the time to walk to your next FP and do the same thing lets say you have a FP for one ride and your next ride is very close you would not need that much time to walk form one to the other but if they are across the park then I would give more time. I would give my self a little more time then what I think I need you can alway walk slowly to the next one and stop and look at something or get a bite to eat use the bathroom watch a show talk to a CM pin tread

but at EPCOT they have a tear system so you will have to pick just one of those as they are all in tear 1

hollywood stude also has a tear system

as of right not MK and animal kingdom dose not have it.

the rides in tear 1 at EPCOT are ( you can only pick one of these)
illumination
living with the land
mission space
soarin ( closed right now)
test track

Hollywood studio ( you can only pick one of these )
beauty and the best
Fantastic ( I have gotten a FP about an hour before the second show)
rock in roller coaster
the great movie ride
toy story
