Fast Pass

I asked this over on the Fast Pass forum a couple weeks ago but have not received any responses. Even though it isn't news/rumor related, this forum seems to have a lot more activity than the others, so thought someone here might have an answer.

If a person makes only a single Fast Pass reservation, rather than three, can an additional Fast Pass be obtained in another park after the one Fast Pass is used? Or, do you have to make two additional "junk" fast passes, preferably before the "real" pass, to qualify for the additional Fast Pass in a second park?

I believe you have to make three and use those three before any others can be made in another park.

When hopping, you can book for the 2nd park after using only 1 FP. The system will allow you to book your final 2 slots for park#2.
