Fast Pass/Child Swap

Hi all,
Our day to pick fast passes is almost here and I'm a little confused as to how this situation will work. The members of our party are myself, my husband, and our 2 year daughter. Obviously there are quite a few things she can not ride and we plan to utilize the rider swap option on some of the coasters such as Everest, space mountain, and aerosmith.
My question is should by husband and I both request a fast pass for the coasters or should just one of us use request a fast pass and then use the rider switch option.... not trying to cheat the system just trying to plan what I should request!

If you want to ride twice, both get fast pass. If you want to ride once, book separate coasters and get Rider Swaps. This only works for height restricted rides, obviously.

Just to be clear- this won't get you both 2 rides on the same ride. You can each ride with your fp+, then one of you could use the switch pass.
Otherwise, the first rider needs a fp+. The 2nd rider does not- they use the switch pass as their fp+. Also, remember you don't have to use the pass right away. We were there in the middle of the month and ours was good until the end of the month.

You can get a rider swap with each FP. My family has done this often. I ride with an older child and get a RS (DH stays with toddler and other older child), then DH and other older child use FP and get a RS. We then save 2 RS for later in the day or trip. We have never been denied this request. There is some debate as to whether this is "fair". However, families that travel with infants and toddlers know they give up a huge amount of time navigating with little ones. To be honest, we only use this system for rides my older kids want to go on multiple times. We waste a lot of FP. The 3 year old has a FP for SM. Obviously not going to use it. By the way, you can also get a RS for single rider line (TT and EE).
