Hello. We are making a trip to WDW in June for 10 days and staying on Disney property. I am very confused about how to book the fast pass + with our party of 5. Our family consists of 2 adults, a 10 year old, a 3 year old, and a 1 year old. What is the best way to book these passes? On My Disney Experience it doesn't register my daughter as being 3 yet (she turns 3 right before we leave) and won't give her a fast pass even though we bought her a ticket. Can we use the baby swap option and if so, how would that work? Thanks very much in advance!

First, I'd call Disney and have them fix the issue. There's no reason why you shouldn't be allowed to book your fastpasses just as everyone else if she has a ticket. -You could also try going into your MDE account and updating her age to 3 and leave out her bday etc. to make her 3 now.

As far as baby swap, yes you'll be able to do that for anything your 1 year old isn't tall enough for. Basically, you'll go to the line with everyone (including baby) tell the CM there that you'd like to do a baby swap. They'll either give you the fastpass then or give the ppl. going into the line a card, which they'll switch out for a fastpass once they get closer to the loading area.

How to maximize your fastpasses with baby swap: Obviously you could just get everyone the same fastpasses, but at places like Epoct, it really works to your advantage to split them and use baby swaps too. Example:

Epcot

DH and DD10 gets a fastpass for Test Track, you all go to line and ask for baby swap, they ride, they come off and then you and 2 ppl. (both kids with you) could ride Test Track via the fastpass line by using the baby swap

You and DD 3 (if tall enough) get fastpass for Soarin, you and dd3 (if she's not tall enough still get the fastpass with her ticket and your 10 year old can use her magicband to use fastpass) ride Soarin, then DH and DD10, and DD3 if tall enough ride Soarin via fastpass line by using baby swap.

You can always just get the same fastpass for everyone (stil ask for the baby swap though, so you're not riding alone and the older 2 can get a 2nd ride), you just have to figure out what works best for your family, but that is an option.
