This will be our 6th DCL...it will be for DD graduation. We have participated in FE twice before and it's always a neat experience. We'll definitely do it again-assuming the new ships have the same type of setup...don't know if they'll have the same "fish" outside the door...if it's different, do we come up with a new name for the game? Or, is FE gonna stick forever no matter what type of critter adorns the wall?

Hi, we just booked this cruise while on the Disney Dream. We got a room on Deck 5 aft. I'm hoping no big noise issues with our room as its just above the nightclubs, actually, right by the aft elevators. I never booked onboard before, so this is new to me. Glad for the discount.

Hey everyone!!! We just booked tonight!! We'll be celebrating my 30th birthday and my wife and I will be celebrating our third wedding anniversary!!! After a lot of research, we decided on deck 10 aft. We heard you can get amazing photos from an aft balcony. This will be our sixth Disney cruise. We were involved with fish extenders on our mediterrean cruise last spring, they are a lot of fun and you get to meet a lot of different people doing it! S if anyone else is interested, we definitely want to do it. Talk to everyone soon. Only 14 months to go!!!

Hello everyone! We just booked this cruise today.

We were on the Maiden Voyage of the Dream, what a wonderful ship. Didn't think we'd do another one in 2012 so didn't book on-board. But now we decided to try the Fantasy, so here we come!!!!

We're in 9162. Love the aft of the ship (we had 9674, aft verandah, on the Dream, what a view!)

If anyone is organizing the fish extender exchange, count us in!

It will be myself (Lin) and DH Andy.

My family and I will definitely participate in the FE...my kids loved getting back last time and checking out their loot each day.
If nobody steps up within a few months of the cruise, I'll put it together-not a problem
ALSO...I know it's far away (but only 13 months now!!!) but think about whether or not anybody would like a unique T-shirt from our cruise. I've done this before on other cruises, and it was really neat.
I work for a multi-sport facility (www.daculafamilysports.com) and we do t-shirts so I have access to the vendors and equipment. I think they ran $8 per person on our last cruise. We can come up with whatever design we want and do any style/color shirt. I'll find a picture of the last one and scan it in (eventually-I'm not quite as tech savvy as my husband who goes to the shows just to drool on the tech equipment)

Kelley, love the t-shirt idea!

On the Dream, we had a seahorse at our door - but there were also fish and (I think?) starfish. But we still called it "Fish Extenders". We had a HUGE group on the Maiden Voyage, meant lots of gifts but also a bit more $$$.

This will be our first 7 day cruise - the others were all 4 night (2 Wonder and 1 Dream).

Looking forward to getting to know everyone. Months to go - but the anticipation is part of the fun!

I think having matching T-shirts is an awesome idea!!! On one of the Disney cruises we did, the disboard group also did lanyards and a "room crawl" where you got to to visit different staterooms to see the different categories. W are up for any of is stuff as well. So much planning to do and only 13 months to go!!!

love the lanyard idea...on a previous cruise w/friends we kicked the idea around, but never did anything about it. Did you have them embroidered? If so, where did you get them? Again, not to "toot my own horn", but I do know someone who can do that if you weren't the one who handled it. (We only do T-shirts at the gym where I work but our former office manager opened an embroidery shop and she does our business at cost)
The room crawl is a neat idea...anybody going to be in the Walt or Roy suites???
Love finally getting some discussion going on here...I'm kind of an obsessive personallity (and my DH isn't) so it's good for me to have others to obsess with

Hi, someone else on the cruise organized the lanyards. He made them at home. They were black rope necklaces with a card attached to them. The card had custom art on them with your name and the date of the cruise, they were pretty neat. It would be pretty awesome if someone in either suite would join a room crawl. Also, I'm the Disney nut in this house as well, so it's cool to have other Disney cruise fans to talk with this far in advance!!!
